great product
great product bought my mustang sep 2021 in st. louis drove it home to detroit. it's FBO and immediately my car had been running warm cylinder heads around 225-235 with heat blasting. took it to a shop a few times told everything was fine. about 4 months later my radiator cracked was told my tstat was fine got a new radiator, gut feeling it was my tstat the whole time met a friend through a friend ordered a new tstat replaced it today now car runs at 180-185 no heat blasting coolant around 175 saw the oring issues bought a extra incase had no issues with the one they gave. would reccomend 100% should've trusted my gut earlier would've saved me 800 bucks for another performance radiator lol. if you are concerned about the oring buy a extra it was 8 bucks. tstat works great car is running 40-50 degrees cooler

Perfect for lowering temp
Returned 2 new from autozone that didnt work. Love the lower temp but it also trips a engine code on my 2013 f150 for a low operating temperature, which is what I wanted though. No worries since I have an in car tuner.

2012 ford f150 ecoboost 3.5 overheating
This thermostat solved my problem. Not because it's a 160 degree. Found out 2 types of thermostats. Hot face and cold face thermostat. If you use a hot face tried 3 before learning in truck overheated with all three. I stalled this cold face thermostat solved it.

O ring gasket wrong
The thermostat seems to work well in my 2011 V6 Mustang but as others have stated, the supplied O-ring is too big. Knowing this I even put it in the freezer overnight to shrink it. Put it in but it is still too big and leaked. Reused the original o-ring. How difficult is it for the manufacturer to supply the correct size o-ring?!

Not a 160!
It’s advertised as a 160 degree, bought it for my 2019 roush f150, coolant temps stay at around 170-175, would go a different brand next time

Good product
At first I was skeptical because of the price but decided to buy it anyway. I have a 2013 ford f150 3.5l ecoboost and my cooling fans would run on high constantly. Which are extremely loud and pretty embarrassing at times. So going down the list of possible remedies i gave this lower temp thermostat a shot. With Oem thermostat it would get up to around 215-220. With the mishimoto thermostat installed it hasn't gone above 190 even when towing. So its does what it's supposed to do.. but that didn't fix my problem with the fans.... just an FYI for anyone else with this issue it Turns out my ac system was over pressurized and thats what was causing the fans to run on high all the time.

Fantastic!!
Worked perfectly on my 2015 f150 5.0. My stock replacement thermostat worked but the fans were always on high cool even in the winter. The best is that the temp display doesn't have 235° above it anymore. O-ring gasket didn't work but I already knit from other reviews. Thanks so much

El termostato llegó el día prometido y le quedó a la perfección a mi auto Mustang 2014.

I was given the WRONG thermostat inside my box. The box label is for the correct model but when I opened it - it does not even look like the product in the photos nor on Mishimoto's website. It is missing the entire copper/bronze valve base and when my workshop tried comparing it to the stock one and it looks worlds apart. Obviously it does not fit. I did some searching and found that it looks like thermostats that classic Mustangs use from the 1960's models. Seems like the person packing the boxes put the wrong Mustang thermostat inside for my model. Total waste of my time having to send the product back and I won't be able to get it installed in time for my upcoming track days. Disappointed.

Installed this on my GT CS Mustang 17 and installing was super easy for me lost some coolant but this is normal I bought a new oem o ring from ford and get rid of the o ring that Mishimoto provided it looks cheap and poor quality. Anyway the heat of my 5.0 went down from 105C to 85-88C max and I love it. Please keep on mind that you need to program them fans do a “tune” to make it works with the new thermostat.
