Are these made in the USA?

Don't think so. WePet is subsidiary of SUGA a China company. I always like to buy made in USA but in this case I was in too much of a hurry to get one. Actually I don't care if China makes poop scoops because that's kind of where they need to be relegated. It's is a very sturdy scoop though.

Does rhis work well with the pine litter?

I use it with Pine litter and it works if you shake it a bit...not the same as it would with clay or sand but I do use it with pine

Do pellets fall through this scoop?

Depends on what you mean by pellets? If the clumps are very small they may not be collected by this scoop. However, that would be true of any scoop.

Is this really stainless steel, or cast aluminum?

Love it

Perfect, just exactly what I was looking for. Needed something sturdy to scoop the cat poop out of the horse sand school. The slots are a little small for the cat litter, however (non-clumping clay).

This cat scoop is amazing!..bigger than normal..sturdy..easy to clean..large handle..great grip handle.

Was a bit disappointing

Everything about this should be great but honestly I found using it very meh. I actually prefer a lighter and sturdy plastic scoop. This metal one is also noisier and I suspect it is scratching the bottom of the litter tray so that will just allow urine and smells to get stuck in the plastic.
