Does the job well
Wanted a Lam that could actually hold zero both visible and IR lasers are BRIGHT no problem seeing it and both throw a decent laser trail, IR designator leaves a little to be desired but perfect for close quarters

It was a perfect fit
It fit perfectly on my rifle.

Sits a little high but works great
Can’t be beaten for the price, especially if you’re a civilian that is not totally hardcore with the night vision gear. This thing is taller than a dbal or peq, and will best serve you bottom mounted at 6:00 on your handguard.

It’s “ok”
Its a nice IR and green laser, the Illuminator seems like its just on the sight for naming purposes only. I tried it on a quarter moon night with PVS 14s and it slightly lit up dark spaces/shadows at about 10-15 feet. So if you’re looking for something with an illuminator id go somewhere else. However the IR laser worked well with just a bit of halo around it and the green laser also looked decent. With the price at 900+ at the time of the review, I’d just go with the dbal-i2 due to lack of usable illuminator

No customer support yet and a broken IR light knob.
So I bought this and my first day actually using it (other than tinkering in my house) the illumination knob has come loose and looks like it is about to fall out. Very noticeable and I am concerned it will completely fall off soon. I have tried to contact Holosun and they won’t even return my calls or messages. I am kind of stuck in a pickle and am very upset so far. On the positive side of things the lasers and illuminator are good. The illuminator does have a lot of germ looking defects in the projection but nothing to bothersome to me. Unit is solid, and certainly Tall and Boxy! So I would recommend side mounting it.

What illuminator??
Awful unit. The illuminator is about as bright as a piece of toast. The IR laser shines for 6000 miles, but the illuminator won't help you see past 30 yards.I contacted the manufacturer, tech support, amazon, and anybody with experience and it seems that's just how weak the illuminator on these units is.Had a lot of potential. Didn't meet the hype.
