This chili sauce is incredible!
As a picky eater, I was pleasantly surprised with how balanced the ingredients are. I mostly like the fact it is NOT overly salty which allowed me to taste all the ingredients. In addition, it is delightfully spicy.

Perfect for sensitive stomach to spicy! So savory!
I was worried I would be too sensitive to the spice but it’s actually perfect I can add this to literally anything it’s not over bearing heat it is more of a savory spice that you can really appreciate the flavor it adds to any dish even with sensitive stomach it adds the zesty ness that I was missing I would purchase again I am satisfied with my product and I would recommend

It's... Ok
Other reviews mentioned it arriving very oily. Mine was sealed & packaged well, no mess or oil anywhere on the jar or packaging. Flavor: tangy, earthy and has some heat. I can handle 2of 5 at Thai restaurants and this is about as hot as I'd be able to enjoy. Overall yummy. Not much crunchy bits in it, mostly sauce. Seems like a high price for what is essentially chili oil. I like it, but I probably won't buy again because of the price

Costs more, but unique enough to make it worthwhile
My gold standard for chili oil is Lee Kum Kee's chiu chow chili oil, therefore I'm going to base my review on the comparison. Chiu chow is more garlicky, whereas FLYBYJING Original Sichuan Chili Crisp does have garlic, the mushroom powder, Sichuan pepper and seaweed powder give it a deeper, more complex savory/umami flavor. They're different enough that I'll have both, but if I only bought one it would be the chiu chow because it's less than half the price. If money meant nothing to me I'd get the FLYBYJING. As for the reviews saying there's too much oil, I disagree. It's chili oil, and it's about half (or a little more) solids, which is exactly right for chili oil.

texture is oily, lid is slippery.
UPDATE: The seller reached out and offered a refund. I refused because I did not want to take money away from a small business owner. However they refunded me anyway. I cannot say enough good things about the owners. They are truly honest and kind people with a generous heart and it was much appreciated! A rare commodity on Amazon. I gave the 2nd jar to my sister and she actually loved it. She likes salty and spicey, so it depends upon the consumer. If you love spicey stuff with that "umami savory" taste (that certain "something" that makes a savory dish taste yummy), then I think this would be for you. We've been using it on our morning eggs and we like that the best, it's perfect with eggs. :-) I had too high hopes for this after seeing a report on a morning show about it. I had never heard of chili crisp and it sounded fantastic, and the small business that owns it seemed like good people. So I wanted to test it out. Could only find it in a local Target store, but it was very pricey. Amazon charged the same price but at least it was for 2 jars instead of one. Many reviewers said that the texture was oily and to make sure you stir it well (which I did). It was good on stir fry and also eggs, (on savory foods mostly), but we found it to be a bit too spicy for our taste and it had an oily taste (and not the pleasant kind, but more of an aged oily feel and taste). We decided to just keep and use it for eggs and stir fry which it was mostly good with. I put the opened used jar in the fridge to keep it fresher, but one day, when I reached for the jar, the lid felt a bit oily, when I tried to gently open it, it slipped and flew out of my hands and half the contents (worth about $5.50) went all on the front of my favorite shirt and on the floor and freshly painted wall! Luckily, some good stain removal soap removed it from the shirt, and I wiped it off the wall before it could stain. This all happened right before a party we were having, so I cleaned up the floor area before I could take a pic of that also. It reaked of old rancid oil for 2 days after. The biggest complaint of this product is that they did not design the lids well. They are not securely tight fitting in the first place, and if the inner part of the lid gets oily (which is pretty easy), then the lid seems to easily loosen, and could also easily slip out of your hands while opening. Just a warning to people who buy it, be very careful and hold it over your sink when opening. Also, it tasted a bit too salty to us, so a little goes a long way. I plan on giving the second jar to a relative, as we did not really care for the taste enough to keep a 2nd jar of it. If you do buy it, make sure to stir it WELL before using it, or you'll just get a mouthful of seasoned oil.

One of life's greatest pleasures
People of Earth: Regardless of your ethnicity or the spice palette you grew up eating, you should be eating this. Seriously. You are missing one of life's greatest pleasures if you don't. There is no way to put into words how good this stuff is. The effect on your taste buds is beyond pleasure; it honestly WILL make you feel like you're flying. Put it on anything, even plain garbanzo beans, and you have a masterpiece of flavor. My sincere thanks to Ms. Jing; she deserves the Nobel Prize for this. It's that good- it has the potential to create more peace and joy than anything any scientist could create. And 10,000+ Amazon global ratings can't be wrong. Just buy it and let your taste buds fly!

Sichaun taste is different than regular crispy
So, I like this product, but please keep in mind that the Sichuan flavor is significant and does NOT taste like the regular Laoganma crispy chili oil. The only issue I have with this is it’s a LOT of oil and not enough crisp. I’d say its like a 60/40 ratio. It is also a bit more spicy! This is NOT an alternative and will likely ruin a dish that is meant to use the regular chili crisp oil.
