How do you use this? Can you use it raw like in the image or do you have to process it into a soap or lotion before use?

I wouldn't suggest melting it, as it depletes the natural properties. If you have a whipping machine, whip the shea butter in batches and add a light carrier oil like sweet almond oil or coconut oil to the mix until you reach the correct consistency. If you'd like a scent, research the correct amount of drops you can add of essential oils. I usually add 30 drops of lavender oil to 1 lb.

Why does mine look moldy?

If it looks tan, beige, cream or even a tiny bit greenish then that's normal. But if it looks like it might be spotted with green or black spots that are furry or frothy looking then that is definitely mold. Check the scent: if it smells a stale, rancid, sour etc. then you should probably send it back. How should I store my shea butter?

I always melt it a little to soften it, then store it in an air tight glass jar & store it in my refrigerator. It lasts a alot longer.
