Fantastic bike!
My previous bike was a mongoose ledge...around $200, but rugged and heavy. Since i primarily ride on the street, i wanted something a bit lighter/faster. This totally fits the bill. The bike arrived nearly fully assembled. Just had to turn the front fork around, install the front wheel (quick release, so no biggie), handlebar and seat, then pumped up the tires.Once assembled, i took it out for a spin. A few adjustments to the shifter/brake placement on the handlebars, and it was good to go. Gears shifted flawlessly, brakes were adjusted beautifully. This thing is a real pleasure to ride! There are a few nice extra little touches...the bike has mounts for two water bottles, and rear cargo rack...pre-drilled, with the hex nuts. It also came with a small tube of black touch-up paint, and the invoice had a hand-written/signed note from the person who did the assembly/tuning (thanks, Mike!).There is no kickstand, but i installed a Greenfield kickstand (285mm, black), and it fits perfectly...no hacksawing involved.Overall, i'm thrilled so far. I haven't had a bike this nice before, and i now know what i've been missing. I'm gonna be putting a LOT of miles on this badboy.

Not What I Expected
I really, really, really wanted to like this bike based on other reviews and my research. However, my overall experience wasn't a positive one, though I have been optimistic. I, as many others, researched many bikes and decided on buying the Tommaso La Forma bike. The bike was delivered, left on my front door steps, but noticed the box was opened. I went ahead removed the bike from the box and confirmed all components were there and nothing was missing. However, I did notice a gouge of paint missing from the front forks. I called Giant and they sent me some touch up paint at no charge. I took the bike into a professional shop for assembly and tuning. I brought the bike home, rode it around my neighborhood, noticed the gears/chain were slipping until I could not pedal no more. The chain broke, and I had to walk the bike home, about a mile away from my house. I contacted Giant again and they sent out a new chain at nor charge. I had the chain replaced, but I believe the gears need to be adjusted since it's slipping and I'm afraid I may break the chain again. My local bike shop will charge another fee to adjust the gears since I did not buy the bike at their shop, so I'm out another $85. In comparison, I bought my wife a bike from a large club membership store for much less that what I purchased the Tommaso La Forma, assembled it myself and have had absolutely no issues with the bike.

Awesome bike, great purchase!
I shopped around for bikes for about a week before making a purchase. All of the shops I went to gave me a list of the features the bike I wanted should have as a daily work commuter in Chicago. They kept showing me their bikes, which were in the $700 to $900 range, and seemed fine. I then looked at lists of the top ten commuter/hybrid bikes, and this bike kept showing up. Plus, it had all of the features the guys at the bike shops told me about. I got the bike for $550, then spent $100 for accessories, and still saved money! I have been riding for a month, and I couldn't be happier. I even had it shipped to a local shop where they put it together for free!

Awesome Bike
assembled quickly out of the box, very excited, first bike I've had since I was a teen, easy assembly, I watched their You Tube vid before arrival. Everything is nice, I was told to put at least 50 miles on it before bringing it in to a bike shop, ride it a bit, tweak it a bit, meet someone on the way, get advice, really nice bike, everyone likes it. I looked for a few weeks for the right bike for me, found this one and glad I did, super smooth, not heavy at all, not light either, solid feel, much faster than I care to go right now.

A great bike
This is a great bike. I shopped around a lot for the kind of bike I need and this one fit my needs perfectly. I only live 4 miles from work so I have a really nice commute that I use my bike for. I'm a big guy, 220 pounds, and this this bike has no problem handling me and with side bags. Highly recommend this bike. I bought it in 2017 and I've had no issues with it whatsoever. I do recommend getting the set up service which I found superb.

Awesome Bike!
I love my Tommaso bike. I had a fifteen year old Ross Mt Pocono bike and felt like I needed a new ride. Scouring Amazon I came across this nice priced bike. The bike looks and rides beautiful. Fast and smooth . The finish is fantastic and the components seem to be of very good guality. I am basically a casual rider, but feel the bike is pretty light and enjoy my time riding it. Great bike. I did take it to my local bike shop for set up as apparently Giant Nerd cannot do their ready to ride build for bikes bought through Amazon. That cost me an additional seventy-five bucks, but worth it. I love my Tommaso La Forma !

Gear chain slipping
After the first outing (20k cycle run on flat track), the chain gears started slipping. It was set up by a professional mechanic (allegedly) from an Amazon approved bike shop.. When I built my own bikes, this never happened. Otherwise the bike is very light, bit disappointed in the shimano systems they make today, I must admit!

Everything about this bike is awesome. Its high quality components
Everything about this bike is awesome. Its high quality components, assembled expertly, and looks great. It arrived in only 3 days and I brought it to my local bike shop for final assembly. BTW - it includes pedals. I'm 5'-9", so I ordered the Medium and it fits me perfectly.
