Perfect for Sensitive Stomachs
My Frenchie has a sensitive stomach and lots of food intolerances/allergies, but he absolutely loves this food. Our trainer said it was great for food quality too. The limited ingredient, grain-free formula has eliminated all the digestive issues (aka lots of tooting) we were dealing with before. The duck and pear combo is simple enough that it doesn't upset his stomach, but can't wait to eat. No more upset stomachs, gas, or other issues since switching to this. The quality is clearly high with real meat as the first ingredient. It's pricier than some brands, but worth every penny when you've got a dog with stomach sensitivity. Love it and will keep buying it.

Great quality dog food
Great quality dog food. My pug has allergies and a sensitive stomach, but Acana works perfectly for him. No allergic reactions, good digestion, and healthy coat. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food for our Phoebe!
My dog eats this food with interest but not excitement. I chose it due to some apparent chicken, egg, and *unknown* allergies that were causing her digestion distress and vomiting on other foods. It ended when we switched to this. For a time, we needed to soak it so it would be softer for her to eat but it really resists absorbing water and took 30 min to an hour soaking covered with hot water to get soft enough. It does smell TERRIBLE in my opinion, like a carcass. haha. Which I mean... it's dog food so it's not supposed to appeal to me. The treats of the same flavor smell wonderful like baked apples. This kibble smells nothing like that. We will continue feeding it to our Papillon mix who has energy, a lovely long coat, and no more tummy trouble! Very thankful for the limited ingredient recipe.

Great quality food
I have the pork and squash, the lamb, and the chicken. My dog loves all of them. I like this brand because it's really great quality and seems healthy. It is on the more expensive side but you pay for quality. My dog is picky but I change the flavor every few months and he's happy. He doesn't get any diarreah on this. I had originally changed to this one because I needed something that was going to be close to feeding him raw, on a cheaper scale, and we were going out of town a lot so my MIL was watching him and had a hard time feeding him the raw food. This was a good substitute. I had used Orijen as well, and loved that one more but this is much more affordable.

Dogs Loving it!
I'm not yet 100% certain that my dogs will be able to tolerate this food, long-term, without experiencing digestive or allergy issues, but they're doing good right now, and they seem to really like it (without having to add wet food or anything else to it)! I'm happy with this dog food, so far, too! It contains better-quality ingredients than many other high-priced, dry dog foods, and it DOES NOT CONTAIN CHICKEN, which is critical, since chicken is one of the primary ingredients to which many dogs (including mine) have serious allergies! Although, this is common knowledge among pet food companies, most of them still use some form of chicken (chicken fat, broth, meal, by-product, etc.) in their pet foods, which I find extremely disappointing and irresponsible! Lastly, while this dry food is somewhat expensive, it is free of animal by-products and by-product meal, so I feel pretty good about feeding this to them, overall.

The best quality
The best quality food and you pay for it. I do wish we got occasional coupons or bonuses for purchases. Please add a good ziplock seal to the bags for preserving freshness.

They LOVE it
Our dogs LOVE it. They never really cared about kibble before only got excited for homemade at dinner. But now they chow down on this. We even had to get the puzzle bowls they were eating so fast. They seem to be doing well on this too, no diarrhea or upset tummies. Vet said both, a French bulldog & a Mini French dachshund are very healthy and at a good weight. They are both 4 months old. It is expensive but if you’re going to try to feed them well then a little extra cost isn’t a big deal.

My poodle has had soft stool for months and I had tried various probiotics supplements with negligible difference. However, after changing to single-meat-protein source feed using this, his stool returned to normal immediately. Previously he was on a kibble that sourced meat protein from prairie animals.
