Every Man JackThickening Paste | 2.65-ounce | Naturally Derived, Parabens-free, Pthalate-free, Dye-free, and Certified Cruelty Free

Just got the item 2 days ago. Prior to removing the clear plastic lid under the twist off top it seemed like some settling took place as one edge or side of the paste was empty. Seems reasonable to think that could happen but I also noticed a small darker spot. I wasn’t sure what this was but figured I’d try the product anyways. I wouldn’t say it’s easy to spread I definitely had to work it into my hair. I got my hands a little wet and that definitely made it easier to spread. Makes me think it will be easier to apply to damp hair, mine was dry. The smell is very mild, it has no effect on my rating of this product. it held my thin hair in place for the day working in a medical clinic environment. The product washed out easily in the shower. Overall I felt satisfied with the performance of the product after one use but got more curious about the spot I had noticed so I poked at that area after the first use. That spot actually seems like a soft foreign particle. I’m not sure if it’s from one of the ingredients or what but I took a photo. I’m not sure what to make of this but along with the product being empty on one side of the container makes me suspicious. I ordered this along with 2 other brands of similar products, cremo and smooth viking and will likely stick to those as they looked much cleaner I guess is the word. Performance wise(used each product once) they are all similar.(Update) After a few months and several uses of each of the products mentioned above I like them all. After more uses you get to see a few minor differences in each product. I like them all for different reasons and each works a little different. hair length matters as well so I can see myself stocking all 3 products and using them all.

This paste works into hair well after warming up in hands and has a nice hold. Great value for the price. I would like to note that other reviews have commented that their product was hard or they were unable to get any product out of the container: there is a clear plastic cover that over the paste that is hard to see but you need to remove this first. The product is actually quite soft under this clear cover.

It is no long a fragrance free product. Ingredients are the same but product firmula is different. Returned and gor a replacement. The formula changed. Sad really it was a great product. Must of been bought by P&G or a big corporation. They tend to use petroleum based chemicals which have lingering odors.

Product is not good. Does not go in hair well and has no hold . Don’t buy!!

Item is either old or bad. Paste was almost solid, unusable. Expired maybe?

This smaller version of the product does not have the staining problem as the 3.4 ounce can version.The hair paste is excellent. The best factors I like about this product: (1) good moldability and hold, (2) no fragrance and other allergenic/harmful substances, and (3) easy to wash off. I do have to use more of this product than other thickening pastes I've tried to get the same hold, but those other thickening pastes contain allergenic/harmful substances, so it's worth the trade-off for me, and does not justify taking 1 star off this product. You can feel that most of the product is washed off with just a rinse of warm water, although I still use shampoo twice to ensure there is no product remaining in my hair at night.Very happy with the product, and will continue using.

I really like the product lines from this company. I use shower soap, hair product, shampoo and body wash. All are great, natural, good scent and work well.
