I bought one of these kits and they while easy to install the lights themselves only provide any decent illumination for about an hour before they are dead or barely working. I even tried an experiment to place one device under a lamp for 8 hours to make sure it got enough light to charge the battery. It still only lasted for an hour. Maybe the batteries are defective or ?? When they first light up they are great - unfortunately they don't stay that way for long so I will be returning them. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos but you get the point. This is the same light after an hour.

These look great... When they worked. Lasted about a week, then started flickering faintly about 2 hours after sunset. Now a month after installing them they light up between 5 and 15 minutes after dark, each one a little different time, then flicker for another hour or so and completely dark 90 minutes after turning on.I'm going to guess the batteries are shot and I haven't decided if I'm going to try replacing them with better ones or just send them back and try something different.

From Dusk until about 10 or 11pm the lights are Dim and some are either already out or close to being out. I will have to wait to replace the rechargeable battery or batteries. I wouldn't waste your money. If the weather cooperates I am gonna remove and return. I bought 3 sets and I am very disappointed for the money i paid for them.

Bought 10 of these and all worked out of the box. After 1 week got 1st rain and 1 of the 10 failed. Photosensor isn't working and so it's on all day and never charges the battery. Clearly a sealing issue. Moisture must have gotten in. Lights are bright, last easily past 2AMSome reviews claim they last only a couple of hrs, but those reviews are in November and solar energy in US in Nov is 1/5th of what it is in June. I experience same with the solar array on my roof.. produce 1.5MWatts in June, .3MWatts in November if I'm lucky. It's physics, not the lightsReason for low rating.. I made 3 attempts to contact vendor hoping to replace 1 defective light rather than uninstalling them all for a return. No response at all. Eventually ordered 2 from a different vendor.Recommend the lights, do not recommend the vendor.

Everything started out great the first 2 nights. Lights were bright.... Lasted all night. A few days after installing they make it about an hour, maybe an hour and a half some nights before losing almost all their brightness. I bought these because they had a higher lumen output than most others. You get what you pay for, these are bright....for an hour. Yes they are in full sun all day long.

These work very well and add a warmth to our yard and home. If you have a drill the installation will only take a minute or two per light.Do be aware that the way these work is the more direct sunlight they receive during the day, the brighter and longer they light up at night. We have two of these that are partly shaded during the day. They are definitely less bright at night. None of the lights last the entire night, however for us that is not a problem as we purchased them primarily to be welcoming during the hours before retiring for the evening.

This is a great modern look for fence post tops, but doesn’t offer any lighting on the ground. So although they were really nice to look at and very bright, we ended up sending them back because they didn’t serve our application - lighting the ground.

Great lights! Very simple yet classy.... Not too bright and that's what we wanted 👍
