I have loved California apricots since I was a kid, over 40 years ago. Little by little, the stores replace these with the less tasty and plain, Turkish or Mediterranean apricots. This is probably due to California apricots being sensitive to turning brown etc.. Stores probably lost money. And those natural apricots, that come brown, I don't like those.Anyway, these apricots are delicious, moist and tangy, as they should be. Sure, not cheap, but the bag is larger than was ever sold in stores, and I consider it a delicacy. I will surely buy again!! One minor issue with the bag itself, was the ziploc didn't close after you cut the top off the bag.

We have always bought our apricots from Trader Joe's, because my wife much prefers the California apricots over the Turkish ones. Trader Joe's was out of apricots, so I went on-line to see what else was out there. The reviews for the Sincerely Nuts California apricots were excellent, so I figured it was worth giving them a try. I didn't tell my wife I had made the switcheroo, but after she ate a couple of the Sincerely Nuts apricots, she asked where did I get these. When I explained what I had done, she said "So Long Trader Joe's!" There are a little more expensive, but are definitely worth the extra cost. They are large, rich, and flavorful! We're sold!!!!!

These apricots were perfect - bright, flavorful and moist. I bought some Sunmaid California apricots at the same time, in case these, from a source unfamiliar to me, weren't so terrific. Instead, the Sunmaid product was almost black, dry, and I didn't even bother to taste them. In the picture, the 4 dark ones are Sunmaid and the 1 orange one is from Sincerely Nuts.

I tried to find a way to contact the seller to ask this, but I don't see that option--perhaps because they're not returnable. I have ordered these apricots many times, and I love them. My only concern is that several of the apricots have hunks of white powder/crystal on them. I suspect it is the preservative and that I can just flick it off, but I'm not sure. If the seller could contact me and tell me whether I need to throw them away or can just wash off the preservative, it would be much appreciated. The ones I ate before I pulled out one with the white stuff were delicious.

I was finally able to get some real California type tart dried apricots! The first bag I’ve ordered had huge apricots, and they were very tasty. They were moist, chewy and tart. Exactly how I like them. Since they were so good, I’ve ordered 3lb bag this time. The fruits are a bit smaller, but they are very good quality. I plan to order more in the future.

The apricots themselves are quite a bit tangier than I was expecting. There are fragments of pits in almost every apricot half I've eaten. They are not the soft, moist, fairly sweet apricots (without a pit problem) I found at the local discount grocer that came from Turkey.Not very happy. This bag is going to take quite a while for me to eat.

Second time I have ordered these apricots. They come fresh, not at all dark or blackened. I can no longer find California apricots in my local market. These are not super cheap but they are delicious!!
