Gam3Gear Replacement 3D Joystick Thumbstick Repair Parts for Nintendo N64

This is the best replacement joystick for N64 that I have tried. It's not perfect by any means, but feels authentic. The stick is tight but not too tight and is smooth like the original.There is another N64 stick replacement that is much more common. It will be shown in the picture with the electronics on the outside. It is functional but feels like it's full of sand -- stiff and lumpy. This one is only a couple dollars more and is much better.

This joystick is the best one you can buy on the market right now. I tried the GameCube style joystick and it was awful. I compared this to my only stock controller that still has any life to it and there wasn't any noticeable difference.If you need a replacement joystick that feels just like the original then this is the one to go with. Thanks for making a great product!P.S. They even lube up the internal components!

Not quite 100% like the original, but it's pretty close. It doesn't feel quite as smooth an the original, but that may change once I use it more. No complaints on overall functionality and I would buy it again.

Ive tried 2 other 3rd party brands for N64 joysticks. Poor packaging on the second, and poor manufacturing on the first, left me with 20 mins wasted and a joystick that was worse than the 20 year old one i had just replaced. I've been looking for a good replacement joystick for N64 awhile now, and I have to say that this one is the best one out there. Tested it immediately with GoldenEye and it controlled like a charm. If you're looking for the closest thing to the original, this is it!

I ordered 2. One of the joysticks is perfect. The other one has a slight hitch when rotating counter-clockwise. It does not really affect play but it bothers me. This joystick is the next best thing to having an OEM Nintendo joystick. The RepairBox joysticks do not compare.

Stick works great, it's still a little looser than I expected it to be, but not bad at all.
