My partner has mens size 11 feet (shoes measure 33cm length approx) will they fit ?

I really dont think so. I keep my kids shoes in it maximum size 5. Which is a shame because it's a good liitle unit. Sorry

Would taller shoes eg boots be able to fit or would they be too high & get squashed?

I think they would be too squashed. The only was is to lay the boot’s horizontally and then there would not be any room for other shoes.
