Flimsy on/off button
Works great but the in/off button is a little flimsy . I have to press it a few times to turn it on .

Loved it .... while it lasted
We loved this very versatile fryer! Sadly, the heating elements went out almost a year to the date of purchase..for that reason we wouldn't purchase again.

I Have Yet To Use It!
I received my Air Fryer on the 20th of October. I haven’t used it because I have been trying to burn off the chemical smell. It’s a horrible odor I didn’t want the odor to be cooked into the food, (SPECIAL NOTE: It took approximately 7 days running 30 min-3x a day to burn off the chemical smell to my satisfaction). Anyway, I have read through the instructions a couple of times. I admit to being confused by the functions. I think I’ll be able to work through that, trial by error. What I’d like to know is can I use aluminum pans? I know it says not to line pans with aluminum foil when using the air fryer function. I want to use the pans when baking. I haven ‘t been able to get an answer to that question. For that reason alone I’m really not happy with this product. Not to mention one of the most common sizes of aluminum pans doesn’t fit in the oven. Yeah, I know, nit picking but it’s an important issue to me. UPDATE: I have used the Air Fryer several times since my purchase. It took a fair amount of time for the smell of chemical to burn off. As for the actual cooking it’s challenging. There’s definitely a learning curve. When using the air fryer I’ve over cooked items a few times. Like I said there’s a definite learning curve involved. I still think the instructions could be refined a lot. For instance, when cooking a steak does it have to be baked? It’s still confusing to figure out. I was under the impression when using the air fryer function one uses the rack or basket. Is it not possible to air fry steak? I guess it’s going to take a longer than I figured to become proficient using this appliance. I’m not sure I could recommend it for purchase, at least, not at this time. Update to the update. I don’t know about others but I like to have extra accessories for any appliances I purchase. A serious drawback is they don’t make the individual air basket or wire rack available for stand alone purchasing. Unfortunately the interior of the stove is small so it can’t accommodate other wire racks or baskets. LAST UPDATE: As of 1:50 pm 3 Dec 2021 my Deco Chef Air Fryer died. It no longer heats. The coils are history. I’ll not be buying another Deco Chef. I’ll be looking for something with better staying power. I bought this air fryer in 20 Oct 2020. It lasted 13 months. There has to be better built air fryers. SURPRISE: Yep, I intended up giving the Deco another chance and reordered one as a replacement. That was a really bad call on my part. I received it on the 8th of Dec. 2021. I just ordered another Air Fryer, NOT the Deco Chef. I’m replacing the replacement because something is frying in the fryer and it’s not food. It has the constant smell of wires or something electrical burning. When plugged in I feel like I have to be watchful because an electrical fire can happen at anytime. The only time it doesn’t smell as if something is burning is when it’s unplugged. This fryer lasted less than 6 months, I’m moving on. I DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT RECOMMEND this fryer! First buy shame on them, second buy shame on me. I like my house and feel as if it’s at risk with this particular piece of equipment. The new Air Fryer is expected to be delivered today. I really am hoping this turns out to be a love story with me living happily ever after.

Food Taste Great!!
We really like the food that we've cooked or heated up in this so far. It's easy to use and if you wash what you had the food on as soon as you're done it comes right off. So it's easy to clean as long as you don't leave it setting up with the grime on it.

Find another option.
Worked great until it didn't. Bought in February 2021 and now its no longer heating correctly and takes so long to cook simple fries and chicken nuggets. It been a little over a year and already have to get rid of it. For over 100$ I would have thought it would at least last 5 years.... horrible.
