Tastes Sort of "Off" from this Vendor
This is a perishable oil that is often shipped with an ice pack by the manufacturer direct site and by other sites. This came to me this week dated July 2014 as press date (+ 3 months old) without an ice block and it tastes sort of "off". I suspect it spent those months in a hot warehouse. I will probably still use it, but I am disappointed that it is not fresh and will probably pay the extra money to buy direct next time. Other reviewers suggest that it is best to get it not more than 5 weeks after press date and refrigerate it as soon as you open it. I took my chances hoping this vendor would supply a bottle that was not too old. Mine is in the refrigerator now. I don't know if I will have any of the health benefits listed yet or not as this is my first time trying this particular oil blend. But I do know how to recognize the taste of an oil that is on the way to going bad, though. -Debbie

5 stars if it was affordable
I looove it but too expensive. Does last a whole month if u use 1 tablespoon per day though. Still, that makes a $5 breakfast green smoothie by the time I'm done, and that just too much! Vegetarian complete omegas because they use a mix of many oils, including flax (I think), borage, and algae. I did not check the organic/quality control aspect. If that was super high end, I admit the price would be worth it.

Retail product at a savings.
This is the same UDO's DHA oil and packaging that is available at retail, with a long expiration date. The oil shipped quickly and was in perfect condition upon arrival.
