very good for the money, however unfortunately i did not take heed as one of the reviews mentioned their afro hair was tangled. When I used it for the first time i tried it on a small section; my hair felt stripped and immediately tangled. I have since passed it onto a 73 year old english lady with very dry short grey hair and it works for her!

Love it so far!! I was worried based on the reviews that it was going to basically cause my hair to be more tangly than normal but I didn’t experience that at all. And it smells great!!!! For a natural shampoo I love it - my hair feels clean, soft, and smooth. I am not sure about the reviews that say it leaves a residue as I didn’t experience this at all. Only giving 4 stars because the packaging was not the greatest and the bottle wasn’t tight so it leaked all over and there was about an inch of shampoo missing :( Otherwise, I will definitely buy again!! ***UPDATE*** After using this shampoo for 4 or 5 washes, I have to say, my hair is a bit more tangly than normal. My hair isn’t stripped but to get your hair clean you need to use 7 or 8 pumps of it to get a lather all over otherwise your hair will still be greasy underneath. I still love the smell and the clean feeling but don’t normally ever have to use as much shampoo as I do with this one. I would suggest this for shoulder length hair or shorter. And definitely use a conditioner or after spray if your hair is longer

pump arrived broken. shampoo does not clean off oil at all. washed multiple times with a generous amount of shampoo, hair still oily

I love their conditioner and ordered the shampoo. Took. Nearly three weeks to arrive and was shipped in only a cardboard sleeve. I'm lucky the bottle arrived intact even if the nozzle didn't. Off to try and find a cap that fits from my old bottles

I wanted to love this shampoo so much because it’s a clean shampoo. I’ll start with the few things that I like. Pros: The smell is great Clean ingredients Cons: Scalp became incredibly irritated and itchy Hair was greasy within 24hrs Hair felt matted while shampooing I know that clean shampoos are different. I’ve been using them for years and none left my hair and scalp worse than before using it.
