Philips Projection PicoPix Nano, LED DLP, Wi-Fi, Wireless Screen Mirroring

This projector is super portable, it works very well for office meetings. The price is a bit steep but so far, the quality has reflected that. I like that there is wifi screen mirroring because It makes it much easier for me to navigate what I want to view. I am very pleased with the color and brightness that the projector gives off. It is also very quiet which is a bonus.

The projector is clearly broken. The image is completely garbled and unusable. I attached a photo and it is similar to many of the other One Star reviews.And the customer service is terrible. I called Philips, they said they couldn't help me, gave another number. I called that number, they said they couldn't help me, they gave me a third number. I called that number, on hold for 20 mins, and the person on the other end sounded like they were on a cell phone with terrible reception. I couldn't understand them at all. So I called back, and no one picked up. So I emailed Philips customer support, and they said they couldn't help me either, and instead to call AT THE FIRST NUMBER I TRIED! I'm getting sent around and around in circles.So frustrating! I would expect better product quality and better customer service for such a large company.

This is a good projector I use it for my art. The remote works good and the only problem I have had with it is when mirroring it with my laptop it sometimes doesn't want to do as it is suppose to do so I just connect the cable to it and it works fine. But for the price it is worth it.. Works good with low lighting.. doesn't have to be dark. Would have given it a 5 if it mirrored good.

This projector is an awesome picture for it's tiny portable size. I can take it with me anywhere, if I want to have a movie night at a friend's, or travel with it on my carry on- it also comes with outlet adaptors so it can be used in different countries. I love that there are options to connect it to my devices, I can connect wifi easily from my phone and can use the mini HDMI port to connect to my computer. I also really enjoy the screen mirroring option to connect with my phone. The size and sound quality are amazing for the price!

Pros:+ Good form-factor: size, weight, finish - everything is sleek+ Decent amount of ports/input methods+ Power adapter with international plugs+ Good autofocusCons:- Picture quality. Everything is yellowish and greenish, very not natural colors. There is no setting to control RGB channels separately. It only has brightness/saturation/sharpness setting.- Resolution. It said 1080p, but I can clearly see pixels, as it would be only at 720p.- Sound control. 100% on remote = very quite- Operating system. Hard to install apps (even it is an android, it is very limited), had to use firetv.

This projector is relatively compact. It's great for college students who don't have the space in their dorm room for an actual TV. Sometimes I use it in my room because keeping a bare wall for the projector keeps me from having to spend money on buying artwork. It's like a temporary TV you don't have to lug around since I'm moving apartments every year, and you can easily take it other places (comes with a pouch). I move it into the common areas when we have guests over to stream music videos for background noise. It also comes with multiple outlet adapters you can use to convert the wall charger!The manual itself is a little confusing but to break it down:1. Plug in, charge2. Turn the wheel on the side to get a clear picture3. Connect to internet4. Airplay, or plug laptop in (HDMI) to stream

The media could not be loaded.  I used it only 5 times, it was great. But now when I turn the projector on it freezes on the starting screen with the logo "Philips" in the middle, with no response to anything, it doesn't even respond to the resetting button.I contacted Philips and they told me I deserve a refund or replacement, but i don't know how to do this.

Just got it but am returning asap because picture is grainy as hell. Can see more black dots than anything else. Also there was not a remote control included and connection adaptor is so weird. Not as described

Ya estaba desde hace tiempo buscando un buen proyector y barato y está fue la mejor elección, ya que se ve muy nítido no importa el fondo, además que tienes Android, lo cual facilita instalar cosas.

Ho acquistato questo proiettore piu’ di due anni fa e, dopo averlo usato intensamente, posso dire di esserne rimasto estremamente soddisfatto, tanto da averne recentemente regalato uno anche ai miei genitori. L’immagine e’ nitida grazie alla risoluzione FullHD e probabilmente anche all’ottica utilizzata. I colori sono piacevolmente vivi e intensi. Grazie alla batteria integrata, alle piccole dimensioni e all’altoparlante integrato posso portarlo a casa di amici per vedere eventi sportivi. Lo uso collegato ad una FireTV stick di Amazon che viene alimentata direttamente dalla presa USB integrata nel proiettore (e quindi dalla batteria del proiettore) e mi permette di accedere in diretta agli eventi sportivi e ai contenuti delle maggiori piattaforme di streaming.Entro nei dettagli qui di seguito elencando i PRO e i CONTRO di questo prodotto . Premetto che mi considero esperto di elettronica ed informatica, che sono il mio hobby da quando ero ragazzino (anni ’80) e il mio lavoro da oltre 20 anni. Ho avuto anche un altro proiettore con risoluzione standard prima di questo; preferisco i proiettori alla TV perche’ li trovo più riposanti per gli occhi. Mi piace inoltre vedere film ed eventi sportivi “in grande”.PRO:- HA UNA BATTERIA INTEGRATA DI BUONA DURATA: per caricarlo, con il suo alimentatore, ci vogliono circa 2 ore e 40 minuti. Poi la batteria lo fa funzionare per piu’ di 2 ore in modalità normale e attorno alle 4 ore e mezza in modalità “eco”, ossia con una riduzione moderata della luminosità, che comunque rimane molto buona in un ambiente ben oscurato. Piu’ che sufficiente quando lo porto da amici per vedere una partita di calcio o una gara di Formula 1. Per eventi piu’ lunghi mi porto anche l’alimentatore. Tenete conto che io ci alimento anche la chiavetta FireTV stick, che un po’ di energia la porta via. Quindi le 5 ore di autonomia dichiarate sono abbastanza realistiche (in modalità “eco”).- HA I COMANDI INTEGRATI: non amo i dispositivi che possono essere controllati solo da telecomando. Il telecomando e’ comodo e funziona bene, ma se mi si dovesse rompere posso comunque usare il proiettore con i suoi comandi integrati.- L’IMMAGINE E’ NITIDA, LUMINOSA E I COLORI SONO VIVACI: venivo da un proiettore in definizione standard che aveva comunque buoni colori e mi soddisfaceva, ma il passaggio a FullHD ha portato un miglioramento cosi’ drastico che difficilmente continuero’ ad utilizzare il mio vecchio proiettore. In genere proietto sui muri di casa (mi piace spostarlo dove mi serve): lo uso spesso con un immagine di 75”, ben luminosa per essere un proiettore portatile a batteria (lo posso usare anche in un ambiente non troppo oscurato), oppure con un immagine di 115”, meno luminosa perche’ piu’ grande (in questo caso oscuro di piu’ l’ambiente).- HA PORTE USB UTILI: sul retro ci sono una porta USB standard (USB-A) che, come e’ scritto nel manuale, serve per alimentare ad esempio la FireTV stick collegata alla HDMI. Io lo uso proprio in questo modo e funziona in modo affidabile e comodo. Inoltre c’e’ un porta USB-C che permette di ricevere il segnale video da uno smartphone che supporta questa funzionalità o da un notebook; in questo caso il proiettore alimenta contemporaneamente lo smartphone attraverso il cavo USB-C. Trovo che sia un approccio comodissimo e avanzato: non ho potuto provarlo perche’ non possiedo uno smartphone che supporta questa funzionalità ma lo faccio spesso con altri prodotti (monitor per PC) e ne apprezzo la comodità (meno cavi, meno alimentatori, tutto piu’ semplice). Non legge i file di una chiavetta USB, ma e’ una modalita’ che io non usavo piu’; ormai preferisco fare streaming.- E’ PORTATILE: e’ piccolo e leggero. E’ comodo da portare in giro e spesso si puo’ lasciare a casa il suo alimentatore grazie alla buona autonomia. Ha anche un altoparlante integrato di buone prestazioni in relazione alle piccole dimensioni; quando voglio maggiore qualita’ collego un altoparlante bluetooth alla mia FireTV stick.CONTRO:- AVREI PREFERITO L’ALIMENTAZIONE USB-C: l’unico aspetto che mi ha fatto storcere il naso, viste le funzionalità avanzate del proiettore, e’ che viene fornito con un alimentatore con connettore tondo da 22V e 65W circa (vado a memoria). Sarebbe stato molto meglio prevedere un alimentatore USB-C PD (power delivery), di piu’ semplice reperibilità e che probabilmente lo sara’ ancora di piu’ in futuro. Tra l’altro 65W e’ una delle potenze tipiche di USB-C PD. Peccato abbiano fatto altre scelte in fase di progettazione. Vabbe’.CONSIDERAZIONI SUL GIUDIZIO FINALE E SUL PREZZO: non credo che si possa dare un giudizio su un prodotto senza tenere conto del prezzo a cui viene venduto. Spesso questo proiettore Picopix Max One viene venduto attorno alle 500 euro. E’ un costo impegnativo ma se serve portatilita’, autonomia e qualità di immagine mi sembra che le alternative non siano molto piu’ economiche: per questo credo che possa meritare cinque stelle. Se poi lo si trova in offerta, ancora meglio.

Des vidéoprojecteurs compatibles Airplay, il n'y en a pas beaucoup, surtout dans cette gamme de prix.En airplay et sur batterie, on n'est pas du tout encombré par les câbles, on peut s'installer où l'on veut, pourvu qu'il y ait du wifi, et l'ordinateur n'a pas besoin d'être accroché au projecteur. C'est vraiment pratique.En intérieur, le projecteur est suffisamment lumineux. La qualité du son est moyenne. J'utilise donc en complément une enceinte Sonos Roam ultra-portable, ultra bon son, connectée en bluetooth à mon macbook. C'est la meilleure configuration que j'aie trouvé pour éviter un décalage son image.

Tampoco esperaba mucho del proyector, pero no está mal, eso sí, el sonido me sorprendió bastante.

Ein tolles Gerät, welches mit Android läuft und echt gut ist, wenn man sich damit auskennt. Später schreibe ich noch mehr dazu!
