10/10 recommend, if you can afford it!
This oven/air fryer is amazing! I am so glad I purchased this (and on sale)! I do not think I could have purchased it if it wasn’t on sale, unfortunately. There are a ton of settings. My favorite setting is the toast function. It makes the perfect toast!

Oven is well built & sturdy - Problem with Broil function
Love the color, functions, and sturdy door, accessories and ease of use. Unfortunately the toast and Broil functions need some program updates. The toast times are too long, and not adjustable! Level 4 at 6.5 minutes is burnt and Level 3 at 3.5 minutes is not long enough for an English Muffin. All of the presets reached 425 or 450 degrees F, except for Broil. The Broil function never went off of PRE-HEAT. We waited over 45 minutes to cook a steak, and itnever reached 425 Degrees. I used a Digital probe thermometer, and Internal oven thermometer, the Broil function never reached over 400 Degrees. All other functions, including Air-Fry reached over 450 Degrees, but took over 20 minutes to get there. I contacted Calphalon 3-days after my purchase, and they informed me that the Broil Pre-Heat issue was a know bug in the timer, and that I should return the oven. I was very disappointed.I am trying another oven, and will update my review after testing.

Inconsistent heat but kept it, check updates
I’ve had this toaster air fryer combo for a few days now. I spent the first day trying to burn off the oil and that odd smell you notice when it is brand new. The smell has not really faded at all. We tried cooking a pizza and the smell of finishing oil from the factory is still there. Also the heating element that is suppose to be better is oddly inconsistent. We ended up putting the pizza in our oven to finish.I cooked chicken tenders for my kids this afternoon for lunch and some were burned and other were soggy. Just inconsistent with our initial tests on this calphalon.Aesthetically it looks great. So much so we left it on the counter in our butlers pantry. There were no dings or blemishes, so that’s a plus.We will keep trying other foods to try to get a better feel for how this cooks but so far not too impressed.Update 11/23/20: after a few more days w/ this air fryer toaster oven we’ve worked out some quirks and figured out better cooking times. After our initial negative experience with under cooked pizza or burned chicken tenders we ordered another toaster oven to compare. The calphalon outperformed the other “fancy” name brand air fryer toaster oven. There are still some things we have to adjust to but in comparison it’s not so bad.We looked at the seal on the door and noticed a huge difference. The calphalon has a rubber seal around the door much like what you will see on a standard oven. The heat does stay inside this unit better than the other. Also, the convection feature is much more quieter and gets up to speed quicker. On top of that the heating elements are covered limiting crumbs or drippings from causing a burning smell. The downfalls are few. The calphalon comes w/ fewer accessories and features but none that limit the overall performance. No pizza pan or meat probe included. Also the door handle is a fingerprint magnet. We are still dealing with the factory oil smell but hope that will dissipate with more use. Read some complaints about the unit getting hot but what do you expect, it’s a toaster oven that does not advertise a cool touch feature. As of right now we are on the fence about keeping it or processing a return. This is aesthetically beautiful but functionally odd in some conditions.UPDATE 4/28/21: we kept the calphalon toaster oven and really love it. We noticed that once the factory oil smelled disappeared the cook times and evenness of the heat became “normal” or what we would expect. That process took maybe 2 weeks to run its course and everything was easy after that. I’m not sure if it was just our particular unit that had more factory oil or if it was something else but the difference in performance between when we first purchased it to now is absolutely night and day.The calphalon does nearly everything our kitchen aid oven can do minus cooking a turkey for thanksgiving but quick lunches or even small dinners can be had fairly quick w/ amazing results. Cleaning and general upkeep is super easy. I would definitely recommend this toaster oven!

Love it only one downside
For the past 3 years I have been using a Braville toaster oven almost daily as we hate to have to use the big oven as it can heat up my small Apt and set off the fire alarm for no reason 🙄 but unfortunately it died after 3 years of daily use (the fan stopped 8pm the before final death) these 2 ovens are ALMOST IDENTICAL in capabilities however just a few differences that I would say make it a close race.Braville has a higher broil setting up to 500 degrees as this only goes to 450This oven, pans can sometime slip toward you when you pull out the rack because of a slight tilt for some reason so watch yourself! This one can air fry and the Braville equal to this does notThe preheat keeps beeping until you hit START to get the timer going as Braville only beeps once and doesn’t require your attention and automatically starts the clock when heated to temp. This oven there is no change is screen color to let you know the oven is cooled or heated and the screen is only on when in use. Braville however has an orange screen when hot and a grey/blue screen when in use and an unlit screen when not in use however the screen remains on so you can see the timeThis oven does not come with a pizza pan and doesn’t fit all 12in pizzas it’s definitely a little less deep than the Braville. Braville holds pizzas of more size variety deeper but is less in height than this oven. Braville comes with a pizza pan.If this oven out lives the Braville than it was worth it but if the lifespan is the same the the Braville is the winner because of the differences stated above. Both cook evenly and quickly both get hot to touch so you can’t avoid that without going deeper into your pocket. Hope this helps

It works well and simple to operate.
Works very well but I have to learn how to use it. The one thing that is a problem is since the front door opens down some of the crumbs get caught on the door. Next time I will consider a double door side open unit.
