Nice basic detector.
Our previous detectors had features for an app and outputs for valve control. However, those detectors were far too sensitive and would alarm whenever most any aerosol was used. These are basic sensors that rarely alarm when we use aerosol cans. I have 4 of these in use.

All I’ll say is: peace of mind! Get it and relax. It’s worth having it. I have mine inside the heater and AC closet

flimsy but works
Inexpensive but the front and back parts disassembled when I plugged it into the socket and this happened again when I removed the unit from the socket. Had to tape it together. But it worked.

Arrived on time
it arrived on time i have plugged it in but hope that it works as I do not have any leaks yet to set it off. It did set off the alarm when i lit a lighter near it.

Works well with no false alarms.
The unit is small and doesn't take up an entire outlet. I purchased it as the cheeper one I had kept going off when I boiled water... 8-feet away. This one does not react to steam in the air but, when tested with both a butane lighter and by turning on a gas burner for three seconds without letting it light, it is very sensitive to those gasses it is intended to detect. My only 'complaint' is that the green power indicator LED is very bright.

Didn't work with gas from my stove.
Didn't work with gas from my stove. I turned on my stove and blew out the flames. The gas meter was close to the stove and it didn't go off. I let the gas get strong in the room and it still didn't go off.

It works, I tested it
A few days ago it occurred to me that I have two gas powered items in my garage and no way or getting a warning if for some reason there is a leak. I ordered this product and tested it with a bbq lighter. It worked and the warning siren was loud. I guess these lighters have butane in them. I have no way of testing of it works with other types of gas.
