Using these for my puppy at the park? Is this a good deal?

I didn't really notice a difference. I live in Florida and so far the weather has cooperated enough - where I'm on the court almost every day. I do minimum 4 hoppers of hard hitting. Sometimes, my friends (males) join me and they hit hard also. Of course, I did buy and wear a Tommy Copper elbow sleeve. But, my big thing was that the balls went flat too soon in my opinion. I went and purchased 2 buckets of the gamma (pressureless) balls and so far they are holding pretty good. I cleaned out the ball machine before the first use, and I have noticed that there is a lot less fuzz in the machine with these balls.

Has the issue of the balls having a chemical smell been corrected?

I purchased 3 bags of 60, do the majority of balls have defects causing them to bounce irregular.

No, I have no problem using them in my ball machine for practice.
