There are more ear tip sizes available online + Turn off In-Ear Detection to fix connection problems
They include 3 sizes of ear tips, but I needed a size bigger than the medium ones, and smaller than the large ones. I knew that because my old set of bose wired in-ear headphones have ear tips that are intermediary size and fit perfectly. So they wouldn't stay in my ears. I was gutted and was about to return them until I thought to check if Bose sell more sizes... and THEY DO. Which just blew my mind. They sell sizes 0, 1, 1+, 2, 2+, and 3. If you need a different size google "bose StayHear™ Max tips", and you'll find them on the Bose website. I got the size 2 delivered, and the wing is the perfect size, but the tip that goes in the ear canal is way too fat (it's massive (massive (massive!))), way bigger than my old wired headphones, so they instantly pushed themselves out my ear. Luckily there is also a 3rd party producer of the wing tips who sell on amazon, (search amazon for "Adhiper Ear Plugs Replacement Bose Sport Earbuds") so I brought theirs, and their tips are a smaller normal size, and they stay in my ear perfectly. Problem with them though is that the material is tougher and after about an hour they start hurting. Wish Bose had more options with different size ear tips as well as different size wings. But, overall, you have loads of different ear tips to choose from there, so you will likely find a great fit.I tried them out before I updated the firmware and was disappointed that the treble was much higher than my old wired headphones, and there was also a pop sound when pausing and playing. But then the firmware update fixed both issues by adding an EQ, and stopping the pop by adding a rapid feathering of the volume when playing and pausing. The sound quality is noticeably better than my old headphones too.Had no connection issues so far. They connected to both my phone and PC straight away. I've had many Bluetooth receivers in the past for my old wired headphones, and with all of them there is sometimes minor connection annoyances. I think that's just more a problem with Bluetooth in general rather than devices. These actually pretty much connect instantly. And in the app you can choose which device to connect to so that's much better than having to go to the devices to disconnect first.Only thing I'm not liking is that they amplify the noise coming from the outside world slightly. Sometimes that is useful, like if you are talking to someone, but I'd still take at least one out anyway to be polite. The problem mainly is it amplifies the noise of traffic going by, which isn't too bad when playing music, but if listening to podcasts or youtube vids it means you can't hear what's being said. I wish there was a way to turn the amplification off. I guess people like that you can hear traffic while out running for safety, but I usually prefer to just look both ways, and hey that's even more exercise.I was hoping they would have a version 2 of these out along with the QC earbud 2's, coz the QC 2's look great, but I'm pretty certain they won't stay in my ears without the wing tips. Hopefully they release a new version next year and make them even smaller, and even add QC. Or just make the QC 3's available with wing tips so they have a perfect fit suitable for sport.Edit after a month: Dropped a star because I'm getting frequent problems with the right earbud not connecting. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds to start playing audio. Sometimes you have to put back in the case to reset them, but then often they still don't connect after that. You have to keep putting them back in the case to reset them multiple times until they suddenly magically work properly.Edit again: I fixed this issue by turning off the "In-Ear Detection" in the app. It was getting really annoying. I find the auto pause annoying too anyway, so I won't even miss that feature. Back to 5 stars

Best Buds for Running
I have been a runner for several years but after initially trying out sport specific headphones I decided that I found them more of a distraction than a benefit. Things have moved on since then - wireless earbuds for sport are readily available and my criteria was perfectly met by the Bose Sport Earbuds.Sound quality: Superb. I like a neutral profile, not too much bass and perhaps sometimes a little more treble but these play all genres of music just as the creators intended. The firmware has been updated with an EQ option, so you can adjust if you wish but I am happy to leave it as it is. I listen to everything from jazz & classical to rock & metal as well as podcasts and audio books. No problems. If you like to set your EQ for every type of music then don't buy these buds...Noise reduction: There isn't any! I specifically chose these because they don't have ANR - hence the zero stars but for me that's not an issue. I run along busy country roads and back roads. I want to be able to hear cars and tractors before they run me over or I step into their path... If you want ANR it goes without saying that you don't want these earbuds! Adjusting the volume will mask some sound due to the fit of the buds but it's not a feature.Comfort: The buds come with 3 sized covers. I tried the smallest and the medium ( which they're fitted with out of the box). The medium fit perfectly. When running there is no noise generated by the buds rubbing inside your ears and the fit is spot on. I never need to adjust them or worry once I've put them in up until I finish my run. It's easy to forget they're in.Features: A bit light on these - 2 taps on the left bud can skip or rewind a track, 2 taps on the right bud play/pause. If you remove the right bud then they pause automatically. I've found them responsive to taps once you get the hang of where you need to place your hand beside your head when running along. There is an option to select a digital assistant, I have Alexa as I'm part of the Amazon system but Google can also be selected. If you use Spotify there's a shortcut for that. I use Tidal so my music quality is based upon the Tidal app.I track my activities on Strava and if you have a training plan or run any segments it will automatically update you with the relevant info over the top of whatever you're listening to. No issues with compatibility there at all.Battery: The buds have a 5 hour battery, I'm aware this is less than a lot of others but I never run for that long. I put them back in the case and they charge back up... The case has a 15 hour battery, so 3 full charges for the buds. For me that's ideal, there's no wireless charging but again, not an issue - they come with a USB-C cable which I'm happy to use. If you want wireless charging don't buy these...Connection: They pair with a phone using the Bose Music app. My connection hasn't ever lapsed or been lost so far. Sometimes I have to open the app to search for them, other times my phone will automatically connect when I put the earbuds in. I'm not sure why that is but it's not an issue for me.I haven't had any discomfort running with them and they don't seem affected by sweat or moisture to the detriment of the sound quality. That's all for now, I'll add an update after a few more weeks of running. I'm training for a marathon so will be able to put them through some serious mileage.****** Update ******I've been using these for a few weeks now and I'm very pleased with them. I forget that they're in and the sound quality is excellent, to the point where you get a sense of where the instruments are placed in the mix with some tracks. I would definitely recommend for running and any other outdoor activities. Once I put them in I don't have to worry about them until I finish my run, and the connection to my phone has been solid (I use a Sony Xperia 1 running Android's latest version) with no drop outs or pairing issues at all.

Great looking headphones, and performs well. Now with volume control!
**UPDATE** Headphones now allow you to change the volume by using a swipe up and down gesture - much welcomed! - Original review below, hope this update helps you make a better decision. These headphones look fantastic and the fit is very comfortable (in line with prior Bose in-ear headphones). They are lightweight and offer touch controls and are truly wireless. Sound quality is also good, but I can't seem to figure out how to adjust the EQ to make them extra bass heavy (but nevertheless the bass is good). One thing to get used to is that you can't change the volume on the headphones and you have to use your device (phone / watch etc) - would be good if Bose can somehow programme this into the touch command functions. Comes with a USB-C charger and different sized ear tips to help you find the perfect fit. They are priced as a premium product, I would recommend that it is worth buying these to see if they suit you. The Baltic blue colour is very nice and modern. Case is not as small as the airpod ones but it has good build quality and charges quickly. Not noise cancelling, Bose offer the quiet comfort model instead but do cost more than these. Due to the less bulky and light nature of these, they will be good for working out and running.
