So convenient and useful!
I primarily bought this for hiking up my phone in my car. I need to connect to my CarPlay with a cable, so using a wireless charger was redundant. The only problem being wired was when I would rush out of my car and try to yank my phone free of the lightning charger. Bad idea. I also sometimes (more often than I care to admit) connect or disconnect my phone while driving, and it’s virtually impossible to do that with one hand while paying attention to driving. With this product, no more yanked cords and no more distracted driving. A couple of times, I removed to adapter from my phone and forgot to replace it. That’s when I realized and was reminded how much I rely on it. After a year and a half of using it, I have another use for it. My iPad Pro’s usb-c port wasn’t working with any of my cables including original Apple cables. Repairing the port would cost hundreds of dollars. I decided to try the usb-c adapter, and it charges!! It’s not a fast charge, but it works. I’m now putting the adapters on my other iPads. If anything, using this product will keep those charging ports from wearing out. I did have one small problem soon after I started using the cables and adapters back in mid to late 2021. The lightning adapter I was using cracked. The company sent a brand new set and I haven’t had any more issues. It’s all been working great ever since. Now that I’m using it to “save” my other devices’ ports, I just ordered another set.

Solves two main problems that other brands have
Quality product. I’ve bought two different brands in the last few months. The first brand worked fine but the adapters (4) for the Iphone has the charging pins exposed and I went through all four of them quickly. One little bump and they bend and break, rendering them useless. I couldn’t find a way to buy just the adapters themselves. I bought another brand that has a button that is used to make the connection to the cable. This brand has the little gold strips that make the connection inside the charging port on one side only. It is a loose fit and only works when inserted one way. If you move the phone during charging it will lose connection and stop charging. They tout how strong the magnetic connection is with this product and they are right. It’s so strong that when you pull the cable straight off it pulls the adapter out of the phone. The brand I am reviewing solves two problems. The first is the exposed pin problem on the adapter. They are recessed on the adapter and the charging cable has the make connection. This solves the problem of bumping the pins and making it useless. The second is a solid connection. It is not cheaply made. You can feel it in the part that you hold to mate the cable to the adapter. It has a solid magnetic connection but not so strong it will pull your nose ring out if you get it near your face. You can move the phone around and wiggle the cable and it maintains its connection. Highly recommend.

Pretty good cord
Honestly bought this for my friend that is always on the go and ABUSES HIS PHONE PORTS so much. It gets to the point where he bends, wraps or tugs on the regular cords at an angle to charge his phone WHILE HE USES IT. Decided to get a magnetic phone charger for him. Hopefully this prevents him from abusing his phones ports and needing a new phone. He was excited that it supports appleplay? Or something that lets him connects his music, app or whatever he was doing on his phone to his car. I am not an apple user so I am unsure what the name was but it is compatible with sharing data with his car through the cable. I just got him it because it supported fast charge for him.My 4 star is just because I wanted to experiment with it but with my usb c port.. it seemed a bit loose and the tip came out along with the cord when disconnecting. Maybe its just me but that is my experience but if you are an apple user, just go for it.

Still working great after using for last 14 months
I have an iPhone 6 with a slowly failing Lightning connector that would cause a burnt pin on every new charging cable within two or three weeks. I bought a couple of these magentic cable kits to reduce the frequency that I had to insert a charging plug as well as protect the port from dirt and moisture. It has worked great so far.My phone still burns pins on the little adapters that come with this kit, but they last several months instead of weeks. I even broke one of the adapters when I dropped the phone to the floor square against the bottom edge. The adapter broke, but left no damage to the phone's Lightning port. I just needed to swap in a new one.The oblong shape seems to fit my phone's case. It also fit the OtterBox of my company iPad, but I had already tore off the little flap that covers the port.I had also bought one of these kits for my coworker's Android phone with USB-C. He is still using his, too, after more than a year in service.

Magnet is on the wrong side
The tip that goes into the phone as well as the cable end are magnetic. This is a problem is that the tip will pick up all kinds of magnetic bits and pieces it finds in your pockets, or where ever you put your phone down. Eventually you'll get small metal shavings stuck to the tip causing the cable to not connect and you can't charge your phone because the small magentic bit it picked up will cause it to not seat properly. Worse yet is that the small metal bit can work it's way in to short the cable out -- this happened to me, plugged it in, smelled smoke, the tip was HOT. Good thing the phone was unharmed but the charger was fried.Better design would be to have the phone tip non-magnetic, the cable part magnetic. The cable could still pick up magnetic bits but I don't think it would be as bad.Other than that I like these. It gives you one cable to connect USB-C, Lightning, Micro-USB AND the cable detaches if a young child who doesn't know better just pulls on the phone snapping off the charging cable.
