Fantastic light with some limitations
This light is an incredible value, it seems to be very well made and provides vibrant and flexible lighting options. The controllers can be challenging to use to change colors of deeper lights (or in my case the light inside the swim in grotto seems to be unable to receive the signal at all). It also seems as though the lights reset back to demo mode after a couple of hours. The control is a radio frequency transmitter which works great for lights out of water or in shallow water, but in retrospect it would have been great to have a light system that was wifi controlled and could easily be changed with something like Alexa (not sure if a quality product like this exists at a reasonable price point).I purchased these lights and was told by a pool company that they could not install them, they instead wanted to sell me the old school 120v pentair lights at about $1k/each, their total quote was $13K. So I asked my electrician to help install them and he agreed. I needed to purchase two Volt 300W slimline transformers. We used lubricant to help snake the lines through, and I ended up with a total cost of less than $3K. With the vibrant colors the pool looks way better than it would have with the Pentair lights. The pool is safer and the lights are more energy efficient. Time will tell about the longevity of these lights, but they appear to be very well made. Here's the transformer I used for reference: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PMFSH3JI purchased nine of these lights to illuminate my pool and waterfalls. All of the lighting you see in this photo are from this product.

Hayward replacement pool light for fraction of cost
Highly recommend this product especially if you have a Hayward light which cost over a grand to replace. You DO need to buy the junction box separately- take the time to silicone the wires to the box, let dry - The process to replace the light does also require some underwater installation but for a fraction of the cost for the $1000+ replacement- if you are a handy person - this is a godsend! The remote seems delicate and flimsy so keep that thing in a safe place. The lights are very cool but again still worth the trade off against the alternative.

Lasted Almost a Year, It has a 1 year Warranty, no way to contact the seller for replacement!
When it was working, the light was really nice, colors are vivid, brightness is really good. I replaced a Hayward light, which required me to design a 3D model and 3D print a mounting assembly. The mount that comes with it is designed to be a surface mounted on a flat surface, there is nothing in the Hayward setup to screw the mount to.Light has been installed for almost a year, I turned it on, it lite up for a few minutes and it turned off. It is now completely dead. I tested the tranformer, I have full voltage to the light. Light looks fine, no water intrusion, no other visual signs of damage. There is no warranty information on this page about this product, no seller links, no email address, or any other way to contact the seller about replacement. The only way I know that it has a 1 year guaranttee is that they answered my question on this page about it. I asked another question about how I can contract them that has gone unanswered.Amazon support has also been unhelpful in resolving this issue. They told me that the return policy is 30 days. I told them that I am not trying to return this item, I want to talk to the seller about warranty replacement, but that question has also gone unanswered.I'm happy to work with the seller to replace it. If they contact me, I will update this review.

Pool Light Replacement
I replaced my broken Hayward light with this light and saved $750. I have had it installed for this complete pool season and it worked great. If you are looking for a cheaper option that want break the bank this will do the trick. Installation was done with a submersible splice kit and heat shrink so I did not change out the existing 100ft of cable used to get to the 12V transformer. If you are not mechanically inclined this work may require you hire an electrician to install the light. The remote gives you multiple color options which is also nice to have. My only dislike is that it is not as aesthetically pleasing as some other light profiles.

Installation
A few comments.a) Installing the mounting bracket requires you to drill 4 holes in the side of the pool. What if it's full of water?b) The remote control is almost useless. Works fine when the light is on the surface (I tested before I fully installed), but under water (~3ft.) does not work. Battery is new, pool water is clear. Even holding the control as close to the light as possible...nothing.c) My original light used a wall switch (gets power to the light) to change colors. You can use a wall switch with this one also...if you have a wall switch.d) The cord to the light is about 5 ft. Generally the distance from the light to the AC power source / transformer can be up to 150 ft., and by code you have to run a new wire from the light to the power source. That's why many other lights have 50/75/100/150 ft. cords attached to them. That means this light may force you to go 'not to code' and have two wires connected under water. Not advisable or wise. You won't get a qualified electrician to do this.e) The supplied mounting bracket will probably not fit onto the niche where the old light was installed. I had to fashion a plate that fitted over the old niche, and attach the supplied mounting bracket to that.f) If you've not got a new pool (no water) getting this light to install could be challenging for some. Took me 3 - 4 hrs. and I had to get in the pool often. On the bright side it cost ~ $100 as opposed to the $1000 - 1750 I was quoted. And it is very bright.
