it's citrusy, clean, and creamy wood.i got mine about 2 yrs ago. today i came across montblanc legend red. it smelled great, realized it is very similar to my British Sterling HPS. the mb does smell better in a way (classier? cleaner?). and though it doesnt project much, it does last longer than the BS HPS.if you can find the mb for a similar price, get that one. if not, save some money with the British Sterling and just spray heavier.i am wearing these on a cool hi 50/los 60s day. it seems to smell better, stronger when i'm outside.i see some poor reviews of this cologne regarding nonexistent scent. if the seller is the issue, i got mine thru SB distribution.

Nice packaging, however, does not smell exactly the same as the cologne in the "tin-styled" version of packaging.

This my husband bought because he use to wear long ago. Not like it use to smell I don’t think. Nice fragrance no leak of bottle.
