But I am quite happy that I did buy it
Based on other reviews I was a little leery buying this teapot. But I am quite happy that I did buy it. I will be frank, this is a cheap teapot and it does not compare to other stainless steel teapots offered for much higher prices, it is quite nice. The pot is nicely finished inside and out and it does not drip! Also the pot is made with a nice heavy weight stainless steel. The body steel is about the same weight as my expensive cookware, while the steel in the lid is a little lighter guage. There are no sharp edges and the lid fits well. The hinge is solid. The handle is also solidly attached and is nice to hold. I only note two "complaints". 1. The pot I purchased is not 20 oz as advertised. However, it does hold 16 oz (500 ml) very well and is perfect as a two cup pot. I only needed a 2 cup pot so I am quite happy. But if you want exactly 20 oz, buy the larger size pot. 2. The soldering between the spout and teapot is rough. However, that is a difficult join to solder and finish and seems appropriate for the price point. I assumed this pot would not be flawless when I made the purchase so my observation is not really a complaint! I don't have any rust and it has not turned my green teas black. For well under 20 bucks this is quite a nice pot. Also, this pot kept my tea hot for about an hour with nothing more than a dish towel wrapped around it even though it's a cool 50° evening and I am sitting outside. I initially gave this pot 4 stars but I am changing my rating to 5 stars. I love this little pot.

Smaller than advertised
Decieving pic ....it holds exactly 2 cups (measured with a liquid measuring cup) with about a tablespoon of room enough space for a teabag. Description says 2 - 3 cups.

Its easy to use but watch when you pour.
Its a wonderful tea pot but the handle does get rather warm when brewing so be careful. Just adjust how you hold it when pouring. I like being able to have 2 cups of tea with breakfast/brunch. It cleans up very easy.

Not well made
The tea pot's hinge is set too high so the lid sit crooked.

Not good
Don’t like it. Water from this tea pot has a strong metallic taste. Have to throw away

This is perfect as a hot water jug. Bit small for a tea pot.

handle fix not very good and some quite sharp edges

As I have now discovered stainless steel is not the best teapot material in the world. The lid on this was a bit loose. One day it will go to the charity shop...
