Great product. Was concerned whether it would hold my door on an automatic closer and it does! Attractive design and height is adjustable. Easy install. Tip: i first mounted floor post then put painters tape on door side to mark location. the magnet is really strong; i hope the tug to close door doesn’t eventually pull the post out of the floor.

The media could not be loaded. Works perfect! I have to push my wife's wheelchair through a door that was always shut just enough to be a issue getting getting through. (the air flow from the heat register would close it a bit). The magnet works great. And after contact it pulls it in a bit. So when you open it the momentum pops the magnet connection easily. I solved my problem and I am very happy with it.

I got this because it can magnetically hold the bathroom door open in my RV. It looks nice and works very well. I like it because the length is adjustable and it locks in place by tightening a threaded plug inside the body of the stop. It was easy to install.

I just have it on an interior door and found I needed to soften it a little by adding a small piece of foam to the magnet inside the catch. This door on it's own tends to swing in so I really appreciate being able to make it stay open when I want to. It was easy to install and I like that you can adjust how far it sticks out too.

I have a heavy front door with a door closing device. With the automatic door closing, it is sometimes hard to bring bulky items inside. I tried other magnetic door stops to hold the door open, but the door was too heavy for them. This magnet holds the door securely. Also, it is nicely made and the mounting screws are concealed. It is also adjustable in length. Lives up to its description as a heavy duty magnetic door stop.

The magnetic door stop technically works, but the magnet is weaker than expected. I tried it in two different spots—first near the hinge (which I figured might reduce leverage and efficacy), so then I tried way out near the edge of the door. No real difference. Same weak hold in both positions. I bought it to keep the stiff breeze from closing the door, but I’ll end up having to replace it due to the weak magnets. It’ll catch the door, but don’t expect it to hold up to much more than a gentle nudge.

This is exactly the doorstop I've been looking for! Easy to install and I like that it covers all of the screws for a professional-looking installation. When testing the magnetic strength in my hand, I was a little concerned it would be too hard to break the connection once it was in place, but actually found myself wishing it was a bit stronger, though it is sufficient to hold our heavy garage door in place. Now to order another for our exterior garage door!
