Fitment and Appearance - You Get Both With This Valence
After being viciously attacked by a concrete post, I found it necessary to replace my front bumper. The damage was all but purely cosmetic so I didn't need the full and complete bumper kit with all the brackets and fittings....actually could have used one of the brackets because the damage was a little more than purely cosmetic...so I ordered the chrome plated "bumper" (now that's actually purely cosmetic these days) andI also ordered this valence, as the original took minor, but aesthetically unpleasing damage. So this was the valence I ordered and it was a perfect fit for the bumper. The holes lined up beautifully, and any minor fitment issues with the various curves and shapes was easily remedied by heating it up with a hot air gun (hair dryer would do in a pinch) to relax it and push it into shape. These type of things are mass produced and you're almost always going to have a little imperfection here and there, so that is to be expected. What you shouldn't have is any issue with the holes for the body bolts, and I had zero with this. It fit good, it looks good and you'd almost never know about the damage caused by the vicious concrete post. Okay....fine. I hit the post. lol If you want a good fitting part, this one should do you nicely.

overall good quality replacement..but, read comments
everything was going great and everything was lining up nicely ...until I tried to install the fog lights. for each of the fog lights there are 3 plastic clips that need to fit tightly into the valance holes. However, the valance holes are not the correct size and thickness. the valance holes are about 1 mm too large (11 mm is the OEM size...these holes are 12)...and the thickness needs to be just at 6 mm (6mm is the OEM size; these are just 4). Being to large in the round and too thin means the plastic clips that hold the fog light have too much play and will not clip in and prevent bouncing out. Rather than take it all apart and box it back up and return it, I decided to do a little hack of my own involving epoxy glue...I filled each hole completely. I then drill out the correct size and filed the thickness down to correct size. All total I spent about 3 hours and another 15 bucks for quality plastic compatible epoxy. A bit aggravating that I needed to make the repairs, given the advertisement makes the claim of such qreat quality is oem standards. Oh well, not the first time I've had to modify items that are mad with little to no attention to important details. Otherwise, in all other aspects, this valance is well made, the finish is exactly the same as OEM and I applied a nice coat of SOLUTION FINISH to it, so that it will stay looking good for a very long time. (I highly recommend SOLUTION FINISH ...it's the real deal when putting on a new finish...not just a restoring coat or some voodoo polish..but something that goes deep into the plastic and then cures with a solid non wet finish...good stuff...works on the rubber seals in your windows and doors too..)

The product spot on
The way this was shipped was absolutely uncalled for. I do t care how much it's is to ship correctly but folding a valence is a wicked no go
