It looks and feels amazing I had to trim it up a bit tho

I bought this pickguard for my Squier P bass knowing that it might not fit. It’s not really made for that bass, but I thought I would give it a try anyway. I received it in a few days and was impressed with the quality. It’s a good looking pickguard and appears to be three ply with a nice border. When I tried to put it on I found that it wouldn’t drop into place. The distance between the pickups and the base of the neck was too short for it to slip into, so I needed to do a little filing and sanding to get it to go in. I also found the screw holes to be a bit off compared to the original one but all the screws went back in eventually. Fortunately, I planned to have to do a little “massaging” on it when I placed the order so I was not surprised by the need for that. In the end I spent about an hour doing the swap, but I love the look. If you are considering getting one of these for a Squier know that it can be done, but you may need to do a little work yourself. For me ….. it was worth it.

I absolutely love this pickguard. There must be some variation in the color, because the negative reviews call it out, but mine looks very gold to my eyes. 4/5 because it's a moderately tight fit. I got it on my 2017 Fender Am Pro with no mods, but I may go back at it with sandpaper at some point. It's still better to have it too tight than really sloppy, so in the end my complaint is very minor. The photo looks more yellow than it looks to me in real life.
