Good game, packed contents.
So much in the box, long and engaging campaign. Mechanic is really nice, and initial few scenarios teach you the game well, while the game increases its complexity along the way. Good balancing mechanics for more players, so just as good for 4 as for 2.

Top shelf & back of the bet 👌
Entry level Gloomhaven, but it's still a beast of a game - This is something that any dungeon crawler fans should own, and any general gamer should at least try. This is a classic 🤓

Complex, involved but very rewarding
This is the most complex game I've played so far (I own Lords of Waterdeep, Wings, Pandemic, Istanbul, 7 Wonders Duel). But once you get your head around all the moving parts it's good fun. Honestly, you need to watch a YouTube video that explains it, because it's just easier than going through all of the rules, glossaries etc. The pieces work well, but you might struggle with organising the various types of cards, and getting everything back into the box at the end isn't as easy as it could be.

Amazing game, well worth the money
Such an amazing game, but it was a little overwhelming and difficult to learn at first. I highly recommend watching some YouTube tutorials before attempting. But now that we have got the gist it is great!! We’re hooked and can easily see how this game will provide us with years of fun!! Well worth the money. The only thing is it has so many little pieces and characters that we need to buy a gloomhaven insert organiser because it's driving us mad trying to find everything. Also we've just started using the gloomhaven app to track things and it's great once you know what you’re doing!!

Great game damaged box
This game is as good as people say. But it is not for the faint hearted. It is complex, it takes a while to set up for each play and has intricate gameplay. But if you are willing to invest in learning the rules and have a couple of friends to play with, then it is unparalleled as a boardgame experience in scope and mechanics. If you're new to this type of game I recommend starting with Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion as it provides a great set of early scenarios that gradually builds the complexity and teaches through play. P.s. this game can be played solo. But it is a challenge to run two characters and manage the monsters. Also I recommend using an app like Gloomhaven Helper to automate some of the admin (particularly if playing solo). P.p.s My box came a little damaged - but didn't effect the internal components and didn't feel the need to drop a star for it

Broken box, but the replacement arrived amazing
The game itself looks amazing, the quality of the figures, the map and everything looks perfectly painted and assembled. Quite heavy box tho. The only issue i have is that the box and the lid of the game came broken, as you can see in the picture. And as the box is actually a part of the game itself as it is holding everything in place, being also collectible, this is a dissapointment. Amazon arranged a replacement, but the time waiting to get the new game delivered and the already missed gaming event with my family and friends because i had to not use the game to return it and get my replacement, is very unpleasant. This is why it is just 2 stars.

Amazing game, monstruos box with contents... but the quality could be better.
I am still playing the campaign. The game seems amazing. The RPG immersion is all inside. But the components quality, for the high price we pay, could be better. Tiles edges tend to crumble at the slightest touch. Many pieces of them and tokens seems to be of an used game even before you start to play the game. The box is so massive with so many components and you struggle to keep them organised. A better plastic insert would alsso be a good idea. Also, with that enormous quantity of componentes, you will need a big table to play the game mostly (start from a 6 chairs one). Think about it if you live alone in a small apartment, maybe you ll have to play it on the floor. Plastic miniatures are nice though. The case with every character components (there are 17 of them) are also well made. The rule book is well ilustrated, with good quality paper. And the basics of the game, once you ve read and played one first mission, are very easy to master. An excellent game. But a bit isapointed by the cardboard componentes and play cards quality vs price paid. I would give it a 3 star. But the game is so awesome that deserves a 5. Finally, 4 star.
