It's a regular whistle labeled as a dog whistle. Not subsonic. Almost like a kids toy.

Exactly as expected! Used for training our cat to come to the whistle in the event that she got out accidentally. We blew the whistle every time she was fed/treated, then she associated the whistle with food/treat! Worked like a charm, 3 times of whistling at meal time and the cat was trained!

Not high enough pitch for dogs to give a crap.

If it actually worked, that would be great... but it doesnt, so there's that. And by "doesn't work" ...I mean it doesn't actually emit a sound. High-pitched or otherwise.

Did not sound like expected but my dogs responded to it so it deserves 2 stars for that. It fell apart after the first use. Wouldn't recommend unless they fix the quality of the product.

This is just a whistle. Not a dog whistle.
