Great compactor bags
I bought these because I couldnt get my normal bags. Was some what skeptical because they are slightly thinner material. They work great. Fit tight enough around the top that they dont slip when the compactor runs. They also have a draw string to close the bag. My usual ones dont. Wont go back to the other brand. These seem to be just as strong and fit the compactor better. No need to cut button holes to attach the sides and they are about half the price of my old brand.

Favorite Trash Compactor Bags
These are my favorite compactor bags. They hold up well and the bags are very thick.

Excellent compactor bag value and better features than the more expensive brands
I had my doubts about changing from the factory recommended trash bags for my 15" Kitchen Aid compactor which were the Whirpool bags with the holes in the top to fit pins on the compactor. But the price and reviews on these were quite good so I gave one box a try. My review is as follows: These don't have the holes near the opening to fit on the compactor pins but they fit quite snugly around the top of the compactor and stay in place as well if not better then the Whilpool bags. The material seems a little lighter but more flexible. They tare about the same frequency to slightly less then the heavier bags. Usually due to broken glass bottles digging into the sides. When the rare cut event does occur the holes that are in the side of the bag appear not to grow at all when you pick the bag up. Whirpool bags the hole would grow if stressed too much. But the best feature is the built in draw string...I would always misplace or run out of twisty ties on the whirlpool bags and most of the time left the top open. Having a built in drawstring is great! And better yet... they are FAR LESS EXPENSIVE. The whirlpool bags break down to 72 cents/bag, while these are 43 cents per bag. So they are better and cheaper therefore I give it 5 stars. Is there room for improvement? Sure. I think they could make them one gauge heavier material but I like the price point here and can live with it as is. Give these a try, IMO a great value.

Super Sturdy and Snug Fitting
I've tried a bunch of different compactor bags and keep coming back to these. So many others either rip too easily, don't fit well, or aren't snug enough around the rim of the compactor, making them slide down when the compactor is full and especially after it's run. My only gripe is that they are a tad TOO snug. The size of the bag itself is perfect, but it does take a little effort to stretch it around the top edge of the can inside the compactor, but it's rugged plastic so it's not going to tear from that. Overall, it's a tradeoff I'm okay with because the durability is so good. The drawstrings are also really thick, which making closing them easy. Sometimes I can get some leaks but overall, super sturdy, even when carrying a heavy load to the trash cans outside.

Meets all my expections!
This is what I expect from a trash compactor bag; they fit, they do not leak, do not tear and do not pull loose from the sides during compacting. After years of trying different bags I finally found these that meet my expectations. They will on occasion slip off the sides and slide into the compactor but never leaving a mess. These bags are great. I rec'd my first order on Sept. 28th and they will have lasted more than 4 months. Just ordered them again. Four months is worth their price per box.

I wish I had found these bags years ago. I have been using the really thick lined paper bags for the past 15 years because I was sure thicker was better and I just didn't want to take a chance on something leaking (Yuck!). But I was wrong. I was forced to try something new because I can't go to Sears anymore (the only place I could find bags locally) and I learned that I have been wasting (a lot of) money all these years. These bags are a fraction of the price and I like them better! They are much easier to manage because of the draw string and they are definitely strong enough. I have an old KitchenAid and they fit great. Some people wrote about them being too small but I think that might be because they didn't realize you do have to stretch them around the container a bit. They don't just sit there like the thick paper kind, so they have to be snug around the container or you wouldn't be able to compact everything. My tip is to put it on from front to back, just like the picture on the box. You won't have to stretch it much and it can take it.

Best for our whirlpool. No button but still best.
Better than the Whirlpool button compactor bags and better than Kirkland. These don't leak and don't slip in the whirlpool compactor, stretch over the button.

Exactly the Same as Kirkland Trash Compactor Bags!
I was so happy to find a thick, heavy plastic compactor bag. I used to get mine from COSTCO but as my children are grown and gone and there are only two of us these days, I cannot really justify keeping a membership for the purpose of buying bags. I didn’t know where else I was going to get bags because the Kirkland brand has been so great over the years. But I found these and was so pleased to find that these are exactly the same bags, just in a different box! The price is comparable, and it is so much more convenient because the closest COSTCO is too far to drive because we don’t live in the city. So now, I can finally let go of my annual membership and buy in quantities that are more appropriate for a small household.
