This knife is beautiful ,ergonomic very well balanced and very sharp. The handle is strong and beautiful looking made from strong material to last. The thickness of the blade is 2mm and is cone shaped how the forged knife need to be. Just bought it and used it immediately-pleasure to work with. I am hobby knife maker and I can say this is one of the best professional chef knifes I ever see on the market - no very thick blade ,perfect angle of sharpening and will be easy to sharpening in future when is necessary .Damascus forge steel is a priority for sharpness and I think this is life time satisfaction product .I strongly recommend it as a very quality knife and I will buy it again for present to my son and present to people I love.

Overall this is a nice little kitchen knife that does everything required of it. My three slight negatives are. 1. Handle is slightly too thick for comfortable ergonomics. 2. Blade not as sharp as you would expect but sharpens easily enough. 3. Overall feels like a knife worth about half what it costs. Long term use will indicate if this initial impression is borne out but overall I'd have to say that there are probably better knives out there at this price point. For example my wife has a similar knife at half the price and I'd have to say hers is easily as good as this.

Hi. Im professional chef for 20 years now and this knife is legit! I had some more expensive vg10 steel before, and this sharpens same on whetstone and works for as long. 7 months using it at work and still rocking, no issues! Great knife with great price!

Bought to complement my larger Damascus Steel knives, I now find myself using this for nearly everything. Comfortable and easy to put a sharp edge on, it might be the only knife you need.

Erster Eindruck: - sehr leichtes Messer, kopflastiges Messer - Griff aus Kunststoff (wäre o.k.) Es stehen mehrere Nieten vor (Das geht gar nicht) unsauber verschliffen! - Fühlt sich sehr scharf an (ob > 60 HRC kann wohl kein Normalverbraucher nachprüfen) - Billiger Schliff. Sehr rauhe Oberfläche, nicht abgezogen. (Daher fühlt es sich vermutlich nur scharf an.) - Klinge offensichtlich nur gelasert (ist an Stellen wo Gravur fehlt sichtbar.) - 67 Schichten Damaststahl?? Trotzdem ein günstiges Messer, falls die Schärfeangabe 60 +2 HRC zutrifft. Ich konnte nicht bewerten, ob es günstig oder nur billig ist. Daher ging das Messer unbenutzt zurück. Besten Dank an AMAZON Klar - war naiv von mir zu glauben, da kommt ein Wahnsinns Damast-Messer ewig scharf, für 43,99 Euro
