Terminal Adapter, F1 to F2 (50 PER)-Adapter

Perfect for when you're replacing a UPS battery and has the F1 connectors and the new batteries always seem to come in with F2...

F1 connector does *not* grip battery F1 terminal. Product is not fit for purpose.Image in product listing shows F1 (3/16" or 4.8mm) receptacle end with solid back. Actual parts received had central portion of that back as a springy lever, which would in theory press against F1 terminal when inserted and ensure it's pushed up against the curled-over sides of the receptacle. But battery F1 terminal has a hole in the middle (just like the F2 terminal on the adapter itself) so this receptacle flops loosely on it. Maybe if the curled-over sides of the receptacle were more curled-over they might grip the inserted terminal, but they're not so they don't.

They did the job at a good price. I wish I could have gotten them to clip on tighter. They could move a little when attached to a connector.

Terminals arrived on time and as advertised. They fit my batteries perfectly and are a much better value than buying in bags of 5 at the auto parts store.

Crap don’t buy! To lose to make a good connection! Could cause a fire!

These are unfortunately very loose on the F1 side. I'm not sure if they were made wrong or for some obscure terminal spec between F1 and F2. I ended up having to tack them in place with some solder, because they were moving so much that power was being interrupted.They work for my needs, but when these are used up I'll be buying something else.

Well made. These are what you need to convert F1 connector to a F2 connector typical used on sealed lead acid batteries in UPS for PCs.

F1 side of the adapter was a little too tight for my terminals on some generic 1280s but easily loosened with a precision screw driver.
