CeraVe Healing Ointment is amazing for my lips. I’ve tried tons of lip balms — Vaseline, Burt’s Bees, even Aquaphor — but this one just works better. It keeps my lips soft, hydrated, and protected for hours without feeling greasy. I also use it on dry spots anywhere — cuticles, hands, and patches of skin in winter. It locks in moisture and heals fast. If you want a comparison, I’d say CeraVe vs. Aquaphor is like Pepsi vs. Coke or Amazon vs. Walmart — both are good, but for me, CeraVe wins most time. It spreads smoothly, feels light, and lasts all day. Seriously, toss the other lip balms and grab this — you won’t regret it.

I purchased this CeraVe Healing Ointment for my 1.5-year-old son, who has eczema-prone skin, and it has worked really well for us as a daily moisturizer and skin protectant. The texture is thick and occlusive, which helps lock in moisture, especially after bath time. I apply a thin layer to areas that tend to get dry or irritated, and it helps keep his skin soft and comfortable without causing any stinging or redness. What I really appreciate is that it’s fragrance-free and gentle, which is important for sensitive toddler skin. Great for the winter times. Really helps lock in the moisture on the skin and is highly suited for cracked/dry skin. The consistency is how you would describe petroleum jelly feel which is great because a small amount goes a long ways. I use it on my feet, after I shower, and especially on my hands and elbows to help lock in moisture. It’s not heavy if you use an appropriate amount. There is no scent to it and it’s easy to apply. Like i said, it’s got a petroleum jelly feel which i like because it lasts longer than moisturizer/lotion. Overall great product for those trying to keep the skin moisturized and protected from the elements such as the cold.. (we all know the cold can really cause dry/cracked hands. I even use it as chapstick. Love it.

CeraVe Healing Ointment is amazing for very dry skin, especially during the winter. It deeply moisturizes and helps repair the skin barrier without feeling heavy or irritating. A little goes a long way, and it works great on dry hands, cracked skin, lips, and rough patches. It’s gentle, fragrance-free, and keeps skin soft and protected even in cold, dry weather. Definitely a winter essential.

Put this on everywhere and anything body part related. I’ve got super dry rosacea dry skin that can get angry. In Wisconsin winter I’ll put a thin layer of this on my face to keep it from getting windburned. It also soothes after windburn. Non comedogenic so no clogging pores. We out it on our daschund’s pads too. Great stuff.

If you have cracked skin, especially on your feet, petroleum jelly works wonders. The problem is that it's greasy as heck and gets everywhere. This cream is roughly 50% petroleum jelly and so it's just about as effective, but absorbs into your skin much quicker and so the greasiness goes away within a few minutes. My only complaint is I was sent a jar that expired in 5 months. I'll probably buy this elsewhere next time, Amazon has terrible inventory control and so it's a hit or miss when it comes to expiration dates.

I have really bad itchy eczema dry skin in the winter. For the past year or so it continued into the summer, so I have been dealing with this frustrating issue for quite a while. Sometimes it gets so bad I end up scratching my skin until it starts bleeding and I have been desperate for an affordable solution that doesn't involve doctor's appointments to fix. I've tried lotion after lotion after lotion. From CeraVe Intense Moisturizing lotion to Amlactin Intensive Healing lotion. Nothing had been working. After discovering that ointments are much better for constant skin irritation than your standard lotions, I bought this and I am so thankful that I did. For the first time ever, I have been able to see immediate improvement in my skin when I apply this at night. The itching is soothed so quickly after applying, and it helps me sleep instead of being kept up all night from scratching. It is so nice to wake up in the morning with little to no itching or burning. I would need to apply lotions 24/7 to even see a fraction of the results I see from this in just two nights. I am bad at consistent use of almost anything but when I go too long without using this it is very obvious which makes keeping up with consistent use so easy. Sometimes I even apply this to my lips at night before sleeping and it works so well for incredibly chapped winter lips if I do that for a couple nights. It may be a little sticky and the consistency is a little thick in comparison to lotion, but the results are well beyond worth it for me. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone with harsh painful itchy skin. It has been a miracle worker for me all winter long. The tub lasts quite a long while and a little goes a long way, so the size is perfect. And it doesn't have any noticeable scents or fragrances which makes it even more compatible for sensitive skin and people with sensitive noses which is a huge plus.

I saw a dermatologist share how great this product is for lips so I bought it. It's amazing. My dry, cracked winter lips feel most. I also put it on my dry hands and cuticles. Wow. Lastly I put some on my crepey neck. It feels a little greasy going on my melted into my skin and totally revived it. I am so grateful that I bought it!

This ointment is really a miracle for itchy skin! I been using benzoyl peroxide cleanser and I follow up with my A ret cream after skin care which caused my skin to be extremely dry and itchy at night time, it’s really working amazingly without clogging my pores or breaking out my skin!

Debido a que tengo dermatitis de contacto en manos por el uso de gel antibacterial en pandemia, el dermatologo me recetó aquaphore, el cual he usado ya bastante tiempo y me ha resultado digamos que bien, vi que ya vendían esta crema en México y decidí pedirla, tenía ya rato con una herida en mi mano debido al frío y la resequedad que no había podido sanar, tengo apenas como una semana que empecé con esta crema y me ha dejado sorprendida, aunque es más grasa que aquaphore pero se absorbe mejor y la humectacion se siente más y dura más tiempo, mi herida y mis brotes de dermatitis se han quitado, siento mis manos suaves, humectadas. Super recomendable, superó mis expectativas.
