For the money ,this isn't bad value. That said, without modifications this could be regarded as dangerous. The packaging and the pole itself does advise safety hat and goggles advisable when using. But the design of it makes that more necessary in my opinion as the cutting part of this simply doesn't stay connected to the pole!I have modified this by placing a bolt through the pole into the blade holder itself to hold it firmly in place. Without doing this, you cant put enough pressure on what you are trying to cut.I have also put a locknut on the bolt holding the saw to the cutting piece.( be aware, if you try to drill through the bladed part to keep it connected to the pole as I have, it has been hardened as it has the fixed part of the rope operated cutter on it ) hopefully that makes sense!I will attach some photos so you can visualise what I have done shortly....

Good value for money

The head piece is only secured by a slot. Could do with being bolted on
