Elderberry Soothing Syrup

This stands up to the homemade stuff a client brings me from time to time. Great quality and fresh! I didnt read the label well and so I didnt refrigerate. Yep- it went sour, BUT that means less preservatives and I'm okay with that. Don't make my mistake and enjoy good health!

I posted earlier that this item came shattered in its box and I'd never order again. I can't find my original review...anyway, just chatted with Amazon. A full refund is on its way! The actual product is really good, tastes good, but comes in a glass bottle so hence the shattering.

I love the taste of this elderberry syrup! For only having 1 gram of sugar in it, it was surprisingly sweeter than I expected (but not overly sweet), and the cinnamon and cloves give it the perfect warm flavor for the fall/winter seasons! I know some people like to put it in their tea. I personally just like to drink a teaspoon of it right out of the bottle each morning, because of how delicious it is. I can't necessarily speak to how well it works for boosting the immune system because I don't often get sick as it is, but it can't hurt!

Great product with effective features.

Unlike my poor attempt at a pun (late 80’s Miller Lite commercial? Anyone?), this elderberry syrup is top notch. Love the flavor and consistency: Not overly thick or rich (like Mrs Butterworths). Have taken elderberry tablets for cold and flu relief/prevention before, but we’re switching to this syrup from Further Food. We also use and recommend their collagen and superfood products. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go take my elderberry syrup!

This stuff is amazing!!! I absolutely love all Furtherfood products but this is one in general has a special place in my house now... my husband was coming down with a cold and I gave him this 4 times a day for 2 days and he was totally ok by the third day.... Now we are taking it only once per day for prevention during cold season! ... plus it tastes really good .

First off this is not a syrup - it is a very thin watered down liquid which means it's very difficult to measure or pour without making a mess or having half the product run down the bottle. When i first opened the bottle there was a plastic conical shaped top that I assumed is there to slow down the pour but nothing would come out. I put the lid back on then removed it again and now the plastic is stuck in the lid. Bottom line - great taste but horrible bottle design for the viscosity of this product.

I love taking elderberry syrup year round to keep my immune system strong. But I've never had one with cinnamon and gloves infused, like Further Food's, and I absolutely love it! It tastes so warming and delicious -- like fall! I know I can always trust Further Food's quality because they're transparent about their ingredients. And I love that they're woman-owned. Would recommend this product!
