I received this for Christmas from my boyfriend. I absolutely love it! The hammer is just the right weight. Not too light, but not too heavy. The alphabet stamps are great. It came with practice disks(I highly recommend practicing before moving on to your good stuff). Amazon actually carries a lot of the kits that go with this set as well. I have purchased several from Hobby Lobby(before I knew more were on Amazon).

I don’t know where to begin- this set looks like it could be a good substitute for the widely known product which sells for twice this price. You get what you pay for. I’ll try to use it again- will have to buy other components to stabilize the metal pieces.

Being brand new to metal stamping I researched and it seemed that Impress Art was highly recommended. It seemed a very good price for a starter set, but didn’t take long to find out that there are MANY different qualities of stamps. In this starter kit, you get what you pay for!! I have already discovered how much harder it is to use stamps that are not marked in any way as other more quality stamps have. That way you know what you are looking for and which way it is supposed to face so it is not upside down!! I will use the hammer and bloc, even though it is VERY small, but don’t know if I will even use these stamps. I know now I need a better quality! Very disappointed!

I love the product itself, it works great... but when I received it the stamps and the container they came in were covered in a dark, sticky, greasy oil. I’m not sure what it was or why it was there, but it had a bad smell and it got all over my hands and my kitchen counter. After cleaning each individual stamp, I was able to use them. I don’t know what it was or why it was there, but it just didn’t seem normal. Regardless, I now love the set and it does exactly what I purchased it for.
