I loved this book. The author really hit some good points and she's been there with us. So I'll be using what I learned from this book in my career. I'm moving into managers position soon and this book has helped ease my mind about doing so. Thank you for writing this book

I just finished this book, and found it to be a great source of information and insight on how to successfully lead veterinary teams. It had solid advice and great, honest examples that as a reader, were very relatable. I highly recommend for anyone trying to improve their work environment!

I am an experienced RVT about to start a leadership role and this book is EXACTLY what I needed and wanted!! It’s super relatable to how things are on the ground and puts into common sense language what we should be doing, very well-written, extremely readable even humorous. Buy it even if you are not a manager I wish everyone in vet med would read this

Excellent book for those IN veterinary management, those hoping to work in vet management, and even those who are happy NOT being in management and looking for ways to support their hospital team.There are good management strategies for any manager in any industry.Thank you, Amy!

Been in the vet med field for 12 years. Coincidentally I bought this book the month I gave my notice at my vet clinic, to give to my friend, the practice manager. Based on reviews it seemed like it could be a fun and educational book. After receiving it in the mail I decided to read it before giving it to her. The book hits the nail on the head so many times in vet med. I found myself almost in tears on some occasions, wishing I could’ve read and shared this book at the clinic years ago. Maybe things would be different. Either way, it’s given me a lot of insight for future endeavors. And I truly think my friend will also enjoy it and hopefully share it with all of those in the practice.

Every vet team member should read this book but especially anyone looking to move to management or "accidentally" moving to a management role. Fabulous read and it helped me see I Am a Unicorn in Vet Med 💖

Stepping up in the leadership world of veterinary medicine, I wanted to set myself up the best I could. This book has helped me do just that but I believe it would be great for all veterinary staff to learn more about communication and teamwork specifically within our industry. 10/10 every time .

Barely passable. Not a pleasure to read, as the design of text on pages is unprofessional, erratic. The quality of soft covers is like a thick envelope paper. "printed in Great Britain by Amazon" - lesson learned. I will let others speak to contents of the book, hopefully in a better physical edition.

This book is it's own unicorn! The veterinary technician industry finally has something to help guide any team member to success! Thanks for being awesome! 10/10 recommended!
