Goody’s Headache Powder Extra Strength Pain Relief, Triple Action Headache Relief with Aspirin, Acetaminophen & Caffeine, 24 Count, Pack of 6

This is the good stuff for a headache. Don't wait, this provides fast relief. If I take it early enough, I can head off a migraine. I think the fact that it's in powder form means it dissolves and acts faster, my son says it helps his headache "instantly". I have recommended this to dozens of people of the last several years and feel so greatful to have ever discovered it!!!

Goody's is great for pain relief. Each "extra strength" packet has 260 mg of Acetaminophen (less than a regular strength Tylenol), 520 mg of aspirin, and 32.5 mg of caffeine (about a cup of tea). Studies show caffeine enhances the effect of pain relievers and aspirin is actually a better anti-inflammatory than acetaminophen. So the formulation works great. I don't know why the manufacturer calls this "extra strength" when the mixed fruit and cool orange versions both have more pain reliever and more caffeine. I take this version in the afternoon when I don't want the extra caffeine . This version is also good if your stomach is sensitive to any of the ingredients. It tastes like exactly what it is, powdered aspirin. Pretty bad. The best way to take it is shake the powder to one end of the packet, tear off the top, put the packet into your mouth and pour the powder on to the BACK of your tongue, then gulp down some water. You hardly taste it. Alternately, you can pour it into water or some other drink, but be advised the powder does not dissolve. Every time you take a sip you must stir it. If you do not you will finish the drink and all the powder will be in the bottom of the glass. Pouring it into water and drinking it tastes awful but it is, after all, medicine. This was the original formulation of Goody's and it still gets the job done. If you need more powerful pain relief go for the mixed fruit or cool orange. I have been ordering goody's from Amazon for years and never had a problem with expiration dates.

Works amazingly well. Sure, it tastes bad. It’s basically ground up aspirin. But if you mix it with a big glass of water, it’s pretty tasteless. I for one don’t really care how it tastes as long as I’m not crippled by a headache. And if the flavor is really bothersome you can try one of the flavored versions.

This product has been a great way to help alleviate headaches and body aches with a fast acting powder. Its affordable with the 50 pack and is fairly tolerable if one just drinks it all in one ip. I often use two powders at a time and drop in flavor drops to make it more tasty. Since it is geared towards for headaches, it has aspirin, tylenol generic, and caffeine. It has been very rare that i had to take a second dose. While some might want to take on an full stomach, I haven't any adverse stomach problems. Those with liver problems or allergies may want to avoid or use carefully.

I remember my dad taking these a lot and they’re hard to find, but they were extremely fast and really good. Keep in mind it’s like aspirin so check with your doctor because I have a medical condition and then my doctor told me it’s not so wise to take those but the only thing that could get rid of my toothache pain in my body aches, and it works extremely fast, but it did cause my kidney and liver functions to be off my blood work

Should have read further. I assumed it was the dissolved powder with flavor..its definitely not haha. Product ok though, does the job

I have been a Goody user for as long as I remember. I suffer from migraines. This is the only headache powder that if I take it early on that I can suppress it. It does not stop a full on migraine, but it does help control the onset of one. If I see one squiggly line I take it and that does it until I can get home. I carry them in every coat pocket, Purse and jacket. If you know you know and if you did not, now you know. Now the taste… oh my word is absolutely awful. But it works… My brother said it works so well because the taste scares the heck out of the pain…lololol
