Melatonin 3 mg Tablets, 90 Count

This is a melatonin product that produces the desired effect and has not exhibited any negative side effects. While that would seem to be a statement that could be applied to every similar product containing melatonin, that has not been my experience. Because of slight formulation differences or additives, some brands of melatonin cause me to awake groggy, even with a headache. Once I discovered this particular brand I find it causes me to sleep soundly yet not feel drugged, and to awaken relatively free from grogginess. Previously I have used the 5mg formulation, which was much too strong so I would cut the tablet in half to 2.5mg. When the 3mg formulation was released it sounded ideal and the dosage seems close to perfect. When I experimented and cut the tablet in half I discovered it had the identical effect (essentially a 1.5mg dosage) and that I did wake up slightly fresher. Doing so yields up to 400 applications from one bottle, an excellent value. The bottom line for such a product is "does it work" and "is it reasonably priced"? Yes on both counts. Recommended ... although as with any drug or supplement you should always consult a medical professional to determine what is right for you.

Got these for my dog. Recommended by my vet for his anxiety. Works like a charm!

Works good, makes me sleepy but had the weirdest dreams unless coincidencal. Makes me sleep almost all the next day which could be another coincidence. I was just super tired. Might try half just to make sure but everyone's different.

These are the first tablets of any kind I ever bought that I can’t break with my fingers. They are hard as stones, and should be sold with a pill cutter. Apparently I’m going to have to dissolve these in water and drink half to adjust the dose.
