We cooked it with saurkraut in a pan. You should be able to pan fry it but you may need to add some water and put the lid on it too get it fully cooked without burning it.

Or add to scrambled eggs, make a layered potatoes with one layer of Cookef & sliced potatoes, A layer of sliced kolbasz, layer of sliced hard-boiled eggs, layer of potatoes, another layer of sliced kolbasz have another layer of sliced potatoes, Bacon in the oven, take out and put a layer of sour cream. Or, you can make wonderful potato and Kolbasz soup. I never heard of a Hungarian hot dog as such
