This is actually an excellent product with high quality paint finish. Paint finish is car paint quality. Very shiny. It was very well packaged (double insulation wrap plus large cardboard box) and received in sound condition. I was impressed with the quality given its low cost ($125). It is a bargain. The key is to NOT USE the included 3M black colored double sided tape. It will not hold as it is too thin and week. INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. CLEAN application surface with undiluted 70% alcohol. Clean and reclean. This removes dirt, wax, and residue. 2. PREP SPOILER. Clean adhesive side with undiluted 70% alcohol. 3. PURCHASE 3M GRAY COLORED double-sided adhesive tape. DO NOT USE the 3M black colored double-sided adhesive tape that is provided. IT WILL NOT HOLD particularly at the slightly curved corners. The spoiler is not contoured to trunk curvature. It is flat and the curvature at the ends will pull and separate almost immediately. It will not stick and at most only hold for a day or two. 4. CUT the 3M gray colored double sided adhesive tape to widths of 1/4 to 1/2 inch in strips 6 to 8 inches long (similar to width of included black colored double-sided adhesive tape). This is the tedious part. Very tedious. Patience required and quality scissors. Attach the strips along the entire bottom perimeter of the spoiler. Attach in a way that the strips basically create a single uninterrupted edge. This will prevent the intrusion of water below the spoiler which over time will result in deteriorating the adhesive, dirt/moisture buildup and detachment. 5. Once adhesive tape is fully applied around the bottom perimeter of the spoiler, mark off the vehicle area where it will be applied. Tape is very sticky and its best to place it correctly the first time around. I had to try twice and remove/reapply tape in a corner and I am pretty good at this sort of stuff. Again PATIENCE required. 6. Remove red side of ALL double-sided adhesive tape. 7. Attach spoiler lightly and try to get it in desired placement in the first try. Once correctly placed, press down firmly and you are all set. 8. Wax spoiler and surrounding trunk area where alcohol was applied. Rewax again a few days later. This will seal/protect the spoiler paint. Several reviews point out peeling spoiler paint which may be attributed to leaving it naked. Waxing will protect from UV, heat and contamination exposure and prolong life. If you find above to be a challenge, seek installation with a window film, detailer, delete black-out technician. These guys are very well practiced for these types of jobs and have incredible talent and patience. And the service is not expensive.

Fit was good. Easy to put on. Does NOT wear well as much of the clear coat is peeling off and looks terrible.

I only gave 4 stars because it’s already starting to come loose at the far ends! So the tape is not so strong and due to the curbed shape of the trunk it’s giving way!

Made a huge and noticeable difference in the look of the back side of my white 2020 BMW 430i. It finishes the visual line of the car off from a very nice front to a relatively uninspired back, and when installed it just makes the car look great all the way through, for very little money, I am very happy with the product and how it really noticeably and positively finished off the look of my car perfectly.

Install was easy. It does include 3M tape. No instruction but if you have made it this far you probably have access to YouTube. The color is good, size and fit is perfect. Can’t really speak on the durability of the paint yet. However I ceramic coated it for added protection. Overall I’m very happy with the spoiler. This installed my my G22 coupe.

This spoiler claims to fit the 428i. It doesn't and doesn't. The width is right. Looks good. BUT the edges do not curve down with the trunk lid and the 3m tape won't hold it down. I'm afraid it will eventually work loose and fly off.
