Like another reviewer on here, my doctor is ready to start me on blood pressure medication (I have six months to get it under control). Magnesium is the #1 hit when searching for herbal blood pressure remedies. I decided on this because it seems to give you the most for your money.Without being able to scientifically prove it, ten days after starting this (and really not changing anything else significantly in my diet or exercise), my diastolic has come down about 20 points. I didn't expect such a dramatic change so quickly, so I'm obviously really pleased. I haven't had any diarrhea, in fact I feel exactly the same in all other respects (I'd talk about how I'm sleeping better but I've always been a very good sleeper).Can't say unequivocally this is what fixed my essential hypertension, but I haven't changed anything else. And one pill a day doesn't seem like much of a hardship, so I'm sticking with it.UPDATE: I've been using this religiously for about 2 months. Yes, my blood pressure has been more or less under control. But as an experiment, I stopped taking it about a week ago with no change. I think I might have "white coat hypertension" (even on this, it was through the roof the day of my first colonoscopy), so for the day-to-day this really isn't making a difference. Not hurting either though, so I'll keep my rating.

I first discovered this company because they focus on no sugar, grains or anything added at all to their products and I've now been using their Magnesium for years. So happy I can get it on Amazon now.I never knew which kind of mag I needed (or what each does?), there are so many. I love that these allow me to take multiple types at once, I didn't even know this kind of product was available, and also have no fillers or additives.I take 2 at night and they really help me sleep! I'm sure there are many other benefits, but sleep is the big one for me. I also take their multivitamin and D3 and love the quality of both. Trustworthy brand and product.

While I don't take a lot of supplements, I do know that a good multi and a few other minerals can help a guy like me fill in the missing dietary links. I'm a truck driver who tries to eat healthy, but I know there are missing nutrients in my diet because of what I can and cannot take with me in my week long trips. Some things are not convenient, and some just don't work in my environment. Thus, I take what I consider to be the best supplements for the money to fill in the gaps.My review, however, isn't really a story about me, but my wife. I really don't notice that I feel better or worse without supplements. When my wife started on these Magnesium supplements, however, I noticed a change within a week in her demeanor. She is happier. She feels more energetic. She has less pain. I don't know about you, men, but when my woman is happier, has less pain, and feels more energetic, my life is better.So, in short, my life is better because of these Mag caps, even if I don't notice a difference in my own body. If the wife is happy, I'm really happy!

My eastern doc suggested magnesium for me for a number of reasons - I was having a lot of fatigue, some trouble sleeping and some stomach issues from eating too much sugar. The last thing I wanted to do was to take another supplement because so many of them upset my stomach even more. I am over the moon to report that since taking these I am already sleeping better and feel more energized every day. The pervasive nausea I had been having is almost completely gone. There is absolutely no impact on my stomach when I take these pills and by taking them at night, I feel more relaxed when I get to bed (I take them about an hour before I plan to sleep). I had a similar good experience with the first set of products (the multi) that I bought from PVC. I trust their research and feel more comfortable using something that I know has some intelligence behind it. This was game changer for me.

I was deficient in magnesium and after researching, found that different forms of magnesium are good for many things, so I looked for one that includes an array of types. I like that this has no fillers and is a more broad spectrum than most formulations. It's hard when you're over 45ish and things are starting to conk out on you in general to really isolate how effective each supplement is, but I can tell you I have no complaints and this is on my short list of ones I try to keep in stock.Update: While I still like the product, and have ordered it eight times, I’m not sure that I like the magnesium carbonate in it. If only they would replace just that part of it with magnesium threonate, this would be perfect. It’s having enough of an effect on my purchasing decisions that I’m thinking about choosing another product.

This product is SUPERIOR. No additives or fillers is hard to find. I did a lot of research before taking any magnesium. My blood pressure went back to normal range after taking one a day for two weeks. My doctor was ready to put me on blood pressure medication when I went for my physical. They took my blood pressure twice and it was high. I believe in taking control of your health in any way you can so I was determined to try whatever I could to not take medication. I went back to see him two weeks later for a re-check. My blood pressure was completely in the normal range. . I take one at night to help with sleep and muscle recovery. EXCELLENT product and it's a very good price. I will stay loyal to Pure Vitamin Club.

I love this magnesium, I take it every night.. except when I run out and Amazon has been out of stock. It takes a long time for it to ship from California to Michigan when ordering directly from the pvc website. I hope they deliver it today, I wasn’t able to take any last night. But, obviously it’s good stuff! I’ve never had a problem swallowing them.. flavor, it has none, don’t chew it! Value for the money, is great, simply the best magnesium I’ve tried.
