Alvin’s Cables Power Cable for RED Komodo Camera Rotatable Right Angle 2 Pin Female to D-tap L Type Cord

I use this cable on my gimbal. It allows me to balance my KOMODO + lens without the bulk and weight of the batteries at its back. The D-tap end of the cable is plugged into a pass-through plate and the other (2 Pin) end plugs right into the camera power/ charging socket. In the photos it's neat and coiled but when I know it will be a long day, to stress my wrists and arms less, I will take the battery off the gimbal, carry it on my person and plug the D-tap end of the cable directly into the battery (I see IDX batteries, each with D-tap ports). The cable right angle 2-pin connector is great quality and the 90° is super useful. I have had this cable and the Alvin's Komodo to Tentacle Sync 3.5mm cable for a year and they have both stood the test of time. Highly recommended!

I am a Komodo user and have a Core SWX vlock plate. I got this cable to power my Komodo from a vlock while on DJI Ronin RS2. The problem is the cable is not at the right angle as it ships from factory, but by unscrewing the small ring you can rotate the head and get the angle you want.Once i made this change, i was good to go.Build quality seems to be pretty good, cable feels like it’s made from a quality material, and the dtap and Lemo head are well secured.Only time will tell. 🤞🏼

An absolutely essential cable for any RED Komodo user. Use it with my gimbal quite often and it works great. A bit spendy in my opinion though.

I don't know who Alvin is, I don't know if Alvin is even a real person, but if they are real, thank you Alvin! Very respectably priced, but also very well made, a lot of times when it comes to cables, yes you get what you pay for, but many times you do wonder if you're being taken for a ride, especially in todays world of ones and zeroes. With Alvin's Cables though, if I see they have a cable type I'm looking for, I honestly don't look any further, I've never been disappointed.
