The Giving Tree (Hebrew Edition) Hardcover – June 1, 2023

The seller went out of their way to protect the book from any potential damage in transit from half way around the world! It arrived in perfect condition! Now, to continue learning the language!!! My age? 65 year old retired elementary teacher - gotta love Shel Silverstein’s books!

I loved "The Giving Tree" when I was a kid. The Hebrew version is a great way to introduce kids (or adults) to simple Hebrew phrases and structure in a fun way. The print was large enough for a beginning reader to read, and the vowels are printed in the book which is also a good thing. I teach fifth grade Hebrew in a religious school, and I read this to my students on Tu b'Shvat. It was a great choice and they loved it!

Gave this to my baby nephew for Hanukkah - my favorite children’s book translated into Hebrew. Was also great for his sister who’s learning how to read Hebrew - practice for her while she reads to her baby brother!

It's in Hebrew I needed English. Never saw where it was in a different language and I didn't have the book for my Great-Nieces baby shower.

Read it in English, this month discovered in Hebrew the correct spelling in Hebrew of the Yiddish word for "leaf" ends (not begins) with a character not unlike the graphic shape of a Liberty Elm tree with a short pointless "i." Good? I dunno...

Our daughters grew up reading this book in English. Now that we have a grandson and have been buying books in Hebrew for him, it just makes sense that he has the book.

I bought this as a gift to a friend's children. I loved this as a child, and thought it would be great for a 6 year old. The vowels in the Hebrew make it perfect for her to practice what she is learning.
