100 Years 1940 3-Piece Set (Teapot, Sugar & Creamer)

I have fallen in love with the 1950’s Chinez design the delicate rose buds and forget me not pair perfectly like a lovely lace design. It came in tact no broken pieces and I did rise slightly before use to prevent any uninvited dust. It’s more beautiful than it looks, I took a video but I’m afraid it won’t do it any justice. I used once and can’t wait to add to my collection. The tea set was a good price just wish the plates were more affordable and other options like matching seeing players. I have an existing one that I used but just think how dreamy it would be to have everything matching perfectly. Also wish the 3 tiered plates matched the chinez only insted of Tier Cake Stand designs from three different decades - 1900 (Regency), 1910 (Duchesse) and 1940 (English Chintz). Cleaning is a breeze if you a spray option on your kitchen faucet, and I hand dry it with a cotton towel. Plan to display it on my buffet table and keep the box if I move that way it will be safe. No cons except wish there was more pieces available online!

I bought this for my mom for Christmas this year because for my entire adult life she has been in love with the royal Albert tea cup collection. She was so happy when she got to open this, it literally put a twinkle of happy in her eye. Bonus points for the poppy flower on it as that was my late grandmother's nickname (poppy) . Counting mine my mother now has 5 total and they're all beautifully made, exquisite quality and they come in the cutest box one could ever hope for. If tea cups or decorative china is your thing I highly recommend the Royal Albert tea cups and finery . The only downside is that these ones aren't microwaveable but otherwise I was super happy with my choice and so was she. My mom's my queen so she deserves to drink from Royal Albert.

This is my FAVORITE china pattern of all time. It is Royal Albert 1940s English Chintz. The pinks and purples they use for this pattern are lovely. The subtle lavender design in the background is a perfect touch. Bone china is so strong that if the handle of a tea cup does not go above the rim, you can actually turn it upside down on the floor and stand on top of it. I know, because I've done it several times and I'm over 250 pounds! Because it's bone china, it's lightweight but VERY durable. I was so pleased to have found it for just under $40, because it's usually more than that. I wish I could buy more, but I'm on a super tight budget and I keep imagining my cat finding a way to knock it off a table. I'd love to have a whole set of this pattern someday, but I don't expect that to ever happen.

The mug arrived sooner than expected, packaged beautifully. This is my third purchase of these mugs. Nothing else compares. These mugs cheer me up everyday. I have coffee in them several times a day. My coffee tastes better in these gorgeous mugs. Guests are always complementary. I have Royal Douton China, service for 12 and it is beautiful stuff. Best quality, trusted name brand. I encourage people to treat themselves to one of these mugs. Pretty sure they will not be disappointed and will probably want a couple more. The mugs deserve more than 5 stars.

Do NOT buy this. I think the seller got duped into thinking this was a genuine Royal Albert tea mug. It’s not. The first one I received I sent back because the gold around the rim was poorly painted. Thinking it was a one-off, I replaced it with another item of the same pattern and manufacturer. The gold around the rim was somewhat better drawn, but the gold paint has since flaked and rubbed off. I never put it in a dishwasher or microwave. This is NOT Royal Albert quality. When I went to Royal Albert customer service (as directed on the vendor’s page) it was in Australia and their form does not accept inquiries from any other country. Don’t waste your money.

My first one, which came in a set, was cracked on the bottom when it arrived. The replacement is just beautiful and fits a big cup of coffee, just what I want. great product,,,
