Cesar Millan Pack Leader Collar™ - Training Collar of The Dog Whisperer (Large, Blue)

We have a 3 year old Rottweiler, and have tries all kinds of collars and harnesses. The dog is very strong and it has been a struggle walking her especially if she sees a squirrel or a cat. Put this collar on her and she pulled a couple times and instantly stopped. Now when I put the collar on her she doesn't even try it. Super easy to make corrections with a quick gentle tug if she loses focus. Would highly recommend for anyone having issues with dogs pulling or losing focus. For reviews complaining about the weak harness clamps, I could see them being an issue if you were using the double collar as a harness (connecting a lease directly to the back connection) if you use the slip leash as designed the only pressure on the collar is keeping the slip lease high on the dogs neck to easily control the head, there's really not a lot of stress on the double collar straps.

The buckles came loose initially before I realized it was not meant to be tightened. It's just a clasp to hold the ring around my pup's neck. It's a game changer for basic obedience training and relation-building. So far, I am very pleased for my rescued shepherd.

I really respect Cesar Millan and his philosophies, but this collar did not help me on my walks. I was disappointed, because I did want to be able to train my dog to stop pulling on walks, on a regular collar, and it seemed like this should have helped. It keeps the collar up high where it should be. But somehow it still did not keep my dog from pulling. I did watch Cesar’s videos about it, but to no avail. I have a golden retriever / lab / German shepherd mix, who is now 10 months old. My arm and my hand were still quite sore, just like when I used a regular collar. I tried ordering a different size, because I don’t think I initially measured my dog’s neck correctly. I still had just as much trouble on walks, regardless of the size of the collar. I can’t say that this collar wouldn’t work for anyone, but it did not work for my dog. In the end, I ended up going with a pinch collar. (As a friend said, would you rather be pinched or choked?)

This was designed for a working dog, such as a German Shepherd. It had two slots to put 2 L bottles of water on each side. It broke the first time I used it and we had a return it. The idea was good, but it was a piece of junk.

Very good quality and super easy to use. If you order a product from Europe to the US, don't expect to get it in 2 days or order it from closer and for double price. It's worth waiting for but remember that you're buying a collar, a tool. Not a trainer. Don't expect this collar to solve your dog's behavioral problems. You have to work for that. Size L works great with my 75lbs dog aggressive German Shepherd dog. It's easier to correct her and keep her close safely, without hurting her. It gives me more power over her. Fit was off. My dog is too small for this type of collar. I’m sure it’d work great for larger canines. Great quality and value.

I Have a Bullmastiff and this collar works great to control him. He is a 150lbs so for me to maintain control can be very difficult without this collar. I recommend this collar for anyone needing help maintaining control walking your dog.
