I personally did not like the taste
Bottle came in package that leaked oil, however it's pretty Not hard to seal a pickle jar, so not sweating about it. Twist cap. Glass bottle. The mustard oil that the pickle is dipped in seams to be fragrant and authentic.Taste: most important thing how does it taste? While taste is vastly different human to human, I did not love this one! It's way to sour and let me tell you, I love sour but its almost not edible. The flavor is really nice and smell delicious however I could not bring myself to even like it.

Tasty Strong Unique Flavor - Best with Bread Type Food - Salty, Spicy, Oily
Tasty Unique Flavor - This is a common indian pickled relish and it tastes well in that respect. It does taste good but it may be an acquired or specific to person taste. Good enough for me where I can eat a lot in a sitting as an enjoyable experience.Salty, Spicy, Oily - There is a decent amount of spiciness, saltiness, and oiliness here. The spiciness is about medium to high strength for the general population, for someone used to spiciness it may be light. There is also a decent amount of saltiness and it is in olive oil, so it is pretty oily. There are some pickled mango chunks spread throughout, but don't expect a huge amount of mango flavor, it is subtle at most since it is pickled and there is a lot of competing flavor here.Bread Food - Because of the strength of the flavor, it is best to eat with a food item that doesn't have a lot of flavor instilled already, so it complements bread type food the best. It can be eaten with lean protein meats like chicken, but this feels sub optimal. Normal American type bread works or if you are familiar with indian bread, naan and roti work excellently.Good Expiration DateOrder Date: 12/14/23Expiration date: 8/2025

A little is all that is needed!
I mixed this with ground beef, spices, panko, and egg to make some kabobs. Also used it in the sauce with sour cream, greek yogurt, and spices. After stirring, I used a heaping spoonful in each. The oily nature of this sauce was a benefit to both, as olive oil is something I would normally add anyway. Added just an undertone of heat that didn't overpower either the meat or sauce. The combination was excellent served with pita bread (It would work even better with naan). I'll be looking for more recipes to incorporate this into!

disappointing
Not as described. Expected chili pickle in olive oil is glass jar, not a gooey mess of chili pickle, olive oil and broken glass. Smells good.

Product well made
This LIME pickle is very tasty. Although I wanted the lemon one they had sold out. There is a slight difference but you will not be disappointed in the lime. I particularly like the makers of this product as I have tried other pickles of theirs before.
