This isn’t a chair that will last a lifetime but it is a GREAT value buy for sure. I was skeptical with some of the bad reviews but it is perfect for what I was looking for. It took 5 minutes to put together, no tools. It’s firm but has give where it needs it, excellent lumbar support and pushes back a little further for sleeping in the recline position. I am 5’5” and about 200 pounds and I fit like a glove in it! I just had ankle surgery and this is just such a lifesaver...I literally almost cried sitting in it because it is so much more comfortable than laying down all the time!!! I hope anyone reading this has as good of an experience as me! We got the gray cloth version and it’s a durable but soft material. And this chair is not too big, not too small. It would fit in a smaller apartment or a larger bedroom if needed.

Spent a weekend trying chairs up to $2000.00 and just could not find what I wanted. Got this chair as a temporary chair based on the reviews. The bad…it is slightly small (I am 5’11”) and my feet do hang off in the half reclined position. Also to close the foot rest you have to give a little bit of oomph to have the spring compress and the latch catch. The good…four pieces total assembly in 5 minutes. Fabric is a nice weave and feels durable. Good support and great cushions. The ease of reclining is the best of any chair I tried. In full lay out I am totally supported and so comfortable. Not looking for another chair! Buy it!

First I want to say these chairs are really nice and easy to assemble. They are comfortable and look really good in our living room. They are well-made and worth the price. Three things for prospective buyers to consider: how tall are the people who will be sitting in the chairs; how old are the people who will be sitting in the chairs; and how far back do you want to recline with your feet elevated? Keeping in mind that we measured these chairs and compared them to the existing recliners in terms of width, etc, if you are over 5'9" you probably want to get a larger recliner. My family is really tall, including me at 6'0". My mother is a little shorter than me but she is 92 years and she can't close the foot rest without help. Last, the chairs do recline but the footrest doesn't elevate much. I want to be able to kick back and put my feet up and that's not possible.

The recliner arrived early in a very large box. The driver left it on the porch as asked. I am a 71 yr old, 5'11" tall and weigh 295 lb woman. I was able to open the box on the porch and bring in the 4 separate pieces with help from a 61 yr old woman. We put the recliner together without instructions. It fits me like a glove. Long enough, tall enough, wide enough. It is extremely comfortable and feels sturdy. The leg rest is high enough that my feet won't swell. The back positions are excellent and it doesn't hit the wall yet doesn't need to sit too far from the wall. I think it is the most comfortable I have been in a very long time. Good quality at a good price.

I bought this recliner to elevate my leg after having total knee replacement. It was very easy to assemble and the quality of the material seemed very good. The side pieces that slide on to the bracket are a big disappointment. If you put any pressure on them they pop off. The other problem is getting the chair to lock in the foot rest. it takes a strong push back to get it locked into place before getting out of the chair. If the chair was not so big and I could carry it with my new knee I would return it. But I did not keep the original box. This is the first amazon branded item I am so disappointed in. I have purchased many other Amazon products and have been completely happy with. Wouldn't you know the biggest and the most difficult to send back ends up being my one disappointment from Amazon.Update: 10/31/2022 the leather is pealing from the backing. Ultra thin leather if it is real leather at all. Stay away from this product. It will not hold up.

I bought a pair of these based on multiple recommendations from Amazon reviews and product reviews online. When my wife and I get done with a busy day with the kids, we like to put our feet up and watch the Office or some other show on Netflix to chill out before bed. We previously had some crappy recliners bought a year ago from Amazon and were not happy with it. My bad. I bought cheap and got what I deserved. We suffered for a year before I ended up purchasing these beauties! The chairs got delivered from heaven with a little to put together... without tools! Sturdy, YES! Comfortable, Unbelievable! Durable, So far So Good! The material feels thick and durable, and the mechanical parts that move are working without issue after a few months. I literally fall asleep and get lost in its pillowy goodness. The price was great for the quality that you get and both my wife and I are happy!

I was wanting a recliner made with material rather than faux or real leather leather and this was the only one available within my price range. I like the material. I do not like that it is too firm: the seat is slightly curved so one's hips are held higher than one's buttocks, the foot rest has little padding and when extended it is straight out from the chair rather than a slight downward angle causing one's knees to be flat rather than slightly bent, and there's not enough support material/stuffing for the lower back when reclined (empty space between back's edge and seat's edge). Since I threw away the shipping box I had no way to ask for a refund. To make the chair usable I have put a puffy lounge-cushion on it and the head portion of that cushion is draped over the chairs' top so it does not slide out - not the most ideal solution but it works. I can not truly recommend this over-all just for the price and material.

We bought these recliners to put in our RV. It was so easy to carry the individual pieces inside the RV and then assemble them. We would have never gotten a whole recliner through the camper door. These were super easy to put together, and they are extremely comfortable. This is exactly what we wanted. They look great too, and the price was much better than other recliners we found.
