I'm a uk size 12, any suggestions what size to buy. the size table says i'm to buy a xxl?

I’m a 14/16 and the XXL fits me perfectly.

After reading the reviews i would have bought a size xl (me being a uk16 but following their size chart i'm off the chart, i wouldn't even fit a 3xl??
