My original review was: “Packaging was intact but the beans have an odd flavor.” My updated review is that these beans are inedible. I cooked the first package according to the directions and they tasted very odd, like a weird chemical taste. I researched about dried lime beans and learned that they naturally have an amount of cyanide in them. Research suggested ways to diminish the chemical taste. I tried two of those methods and the beans are still inedible. I don’t know if it’s really the naturally occurring cyanide or perhaps a chemical used in growing or drying the beans, but they are truly not edible. I have requested a full refund.
